Esteban Cambiasso

No, Iv'e read the whole thread, and stand by what I said.

Col was treated shabbily. He was merely standing by what he said and believed.

Like I said earlier, "a flock of vultures" or if you prefer "mafia" At the end of the day, bullying tactics, which quite frankly is totally unacceptable.

I'm sorry but if his first post wasn't such a pisstake then he wouldn't have such a problem:

'IMAGINE if it was QPR linked to Esteban bloody Cambiasso

Or West Ham.

Or whoever was the piss-take of the month..

There'd be another thread on it clarifying how we seek stability where others 'spend their way out of trouble'.. Or words to that effect.'

This had fook all to do about QPR at all but he had to turn it into another slog fest about Redknapp, he was the instigator AGAIN and if he had just stated his opinion rather than go on and on about Harry because for some reason he can't let it go.

If you think its based on one thread then you are mistaken. I find his tone condescending and why oh why is there a need to highlight words? As for your posts in "cockney" may I ask why you do this?

Here is the deal.

Estaban is a player who is past his prime, he is no longer an everyday hero when he plays. I would imagine that maybe he misses being so adored, so why go to a club that will finish high mid table? If he goes to Leicester, and we have a relegation scare; imagine if he saved us with a last minute goal or some sort. For someone of his age to feel like a hero again probably means more than money.

this is from Clarin - probably the leading newspaper in Buenos Aires

Fútbol internacional

El mediocampista, que se desvinculó de Inter luego de 10 temporadas, jugará en el recién ascendido Leicester City

which = The midfielder, who has separated from Inter after 10 seasons, will play for the recently promoted Leicester City

dateline = 8 August, 20.30

UPDATE - a similar story running on the Italian sports daily Gazetta dello sport.

But.....this one is explicitly sourced to the story in the Mirror. This may have been the source for Clarin too..

Guys. Can you take your school boy arguing elsewhere. Some of us are trying to follow the transfer news.

Be nice coup if we can pull this one off!

Bit late to the party but as a former Rothley resident, anyone calling Leicestershire a shit hole is flat out retarded. One of the more scenic, green, affluent rural areas of the country.

Rothley, Swithland, Woodhouse are stunning. Leicestershire is not New Parks, the Maffews and Saffrun.

Why the **** is most if this thread about col it's a public forum everyone is allowed a view but at the end of the day it's a forum no one owes anyone anything on here it's where people come to view their own personal opinion , but back to cambiasso get him in sign him up and let him teach our young midfield !!

If Hull can sign the likes of Huddlestone, Jelavic and Long, then we needn't worry too much.

I am reliably told that an old city slogan of Hull was, 'It's never dull in Hull'. It must have been true!

HULL WOMAN'S FONDNESS FOR FURNITURE AND BOOT POLISH..Stated to be addicted to drinking methy lated spirits, furniture polish, and boot polish, Annie Rice (47), married woman, of Waller-street, Hull, appeared at the Hull Police Court to-day.

Here's the proof Hull was in fact very shiny in 1928.

No but by using our club to spread the King Power name, it may become profitable for them.

Eejit

They've already got a monopoly on duty free shops in Thailand, are the club really going to encourage more people to go to Thailand? Even still, the money they'd need to spend to get us to a level where they are a household name would not be recoupable through increased exposure - football is the worst business to go into if you've any interest in profiteering, because it just won't happen - the amount of money needed to become recognisable is more than would be makable through the increase in trade

Leicestershire is beautiful. Leicester is a great place to live. People who slate this city really annoy me. London is obviously larger and offers more opportunity but it is one pace, full throttle, 24/7. Leicestershire gives you both.
