Back on track? Transfer tavern reporting it?

Leicester City fans have started coming into the Football Transfer Tavern in recent weeks and they may be interested in this latest offering.

According to The Independent, Leicester City have offered veteran Inter Milan midfielder Esteban Cambiasso a two-year deal.

The 33-year-old Argentine is available on a free transfer after his contract with Inter Milan expired at the end of last season.

The former Real Madrid player made more than 400 appearances for the Italians winning five Scudetto's, four Coppa Italias and the Club World Cup.

And reports suggest that Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has offered him a two-year deal worth £5 million.

The experienced pro had previously been linked with Sam Allardyce’s West Ham United but it is thought that the Hammers wanted him to come in on a trial.

Whereas Leicester have offered him a permanent deal without the need for a trial period at the club.

Cambiasso is believed to be keen on a move to England, however there are also other offers on the table.

La Liga giants Valencia are keen to bring him back to Spain having witnessed how good he was when at Real Madrid.

Leicester City fans. You are going to need all the experience you can get this season. But is Cambiasso really worth £5 million?

Same re- hashed story ...

In an attempt to shift back to Cambiasso based discussion.

Where will he fit into the side?

Personally think we'll see a 3 man midfield next season. Don't think we'll continue with 4-4-2.

Schmeichel

RDL

Morgan

Moore

Schlupp

James

Cambiasso

Drinky

Albrighton

Mahrez

Ulloa

We'll mix it up, like we have preseason. Games we are expected to perhaps struggle against much higher quality will see a 3, games we think we stand a good chance of winning will see a 4-4-2

I'd go something like this, but more of a 4-2-3-1 with Cambiasso and James sitting back while Drinky goes forwards.

Then if we need to be more attacking, take off Cambiasso/James, drop Drinky further back and put Nuge/Vardy on behind Ulloa.

Not trawling through the thread so apologies if it's been posted, but has anyone seen his wiki page?

Usual back 4

Cambiasso

Drinky James

Knocky Ulloa Mahrez

That against the likes of Chelsea away.

Well I hope this one goes better than Frazier Campbell's.

No offence to fourth official, but they have been a bit wank for some time.

At least it's saying something more advanced than has agreed a deal. Medical means it's pretty much there!
