whetstonefox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Doesn't say much for QPR really in terms of how they go about player recruitment, at least we give the impression of having a thought process to the players we bring in and how they will fit in to the team.
jayfox26 Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 I could imagine Esteban going over to QPR and within a week Redknapp telling him he's been left out for Karl Henry. that's the big question. Would he rather lose his place to Karl Henry or Dean Hammond?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Genuinely not all that optimistic anymore. From the outside looking in I could imagine Qpr are just as an attractive proposition as us, if not more. I'll be gutted if this doesn't come off now, as well.
VLC86 Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Ask yourself something. Do you really think it's a coincidence that Leicester gets the National Space Centre in 2001 and then Leicester attract Cambiasso in 2014? E.C phone home....
Saxondale Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Trying to be as objective as possible, here are the selling points of both clubs: Leicester * Promoted as champions * Manager who isn't an idiot * Balanced squad in which players are treated fairly * Top stadium and training facilities * Stable ownership QPR * In London * Will probably pay daft money
Stevosevic Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Is Julio Caesar back at QPR? What if him and Esteban are BFFs and want to take on the London tinder scene together!? We're screwed.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 If Harry hijacks the deal I'm going to drop my guts all over Sandbanks next weekend, the little cvnt.

sylofox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Deal agreed in principle - 1 year deal with a 1 year extension clause. Medical tomorrow or tuesday, may well be carried out in London Club very nervous re QPR/West Ham hijacking the deal; Hence Nigel's outburst. Still some way to go before any sort of official announcement. Understanding is that his agent has spoken to QPR and will meet them. Will depend on availability of others for them; he's not there top priority If he knows he is not Harry's prime target why would he even speek to them? Not saying your wrong Qwerty I just don't get why he would talk to them. Deal agreed in principle - 1 year deal with a 1 year extension clause. CosbehFox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 What have they got right? No problem with them, had contact with one of the lads there and got on ok. Gave me all the details about where the info was coming from etc, I have no problem with them at all. But the info has dried up and they have got stuff wrong several times. Nothing personal in this. From what I work out, the pair of them had jobs with sports science/some footballing product and therefore I had a lot of contact with youth team players at various clubs. It's likely they were on an internship or placement. Now that's all ended and they have no info. So they sort out deals for advertisement to make themselves a tiny bit of dollar. When the advertisements came I stopped following as my feed was like a billboard.

65RosesFox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Own up! Who's been posting on Cambiasso's Facebook page. (If in fact the page is genuinely his). Kevin Milkman Gifford Oggi alle 12.02 You need to sign for Leicester City you will be a god to us Mi piace · Commenta · Condividi Just had a look onTwitter and quite a few Leicester fans have started following him (if it is him) already even though he's not signed and the last time he tweeted was February, and the time before that was August last year.
CosbehFox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 The annoying thing is it doesn't look like they've shown any interest in the player 'til they heard that we'd spoken to him and maybe agreed terms. That may not be the case but that's what the situation appears to be. I just hope we've shown EC enough passion and excitement to persuade him here. Very likely. We've probably done this through speaking to people Pearson trusts and then asked his agent the question. Someone gets a whisper and it's passed on very quick.

Trying to be optimistic but football's a job after all....
Aeropars Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 No, no, no. You're not 'right'. You're guessing. Get a grasp of that and we'll continue the conversation. No. I am right. My factual based statements are perfectly correct. My opinion is that he would not fly with us normal folk unless in first class. Other than that, a private jet. If you want to be pedantic and believe the man was seen at EMA then continue to do so. I have no want to shatter your illusions. Please don't mention Santa Clause.

Aeropars Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 If you don't stop talking Airports I will be forced to post the pictures I have of you from School. :-) I'm surprised you still have them. I have nothing from that era at all! Post away :-)
LukeFoxes Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 As much as I dislike Harry, if it was the other way round and we were made aware of a player's availability that would do beneficial for the team's success, we would be trying our best to lure that player to sign for us and why not? Remember it's a business and teams will be ruthless to get the right player. QPR/Harry haven't done anything wrong, he isn't our player. In fact, just because it's not public knowledge, is doesn't mean we haven't tried to do the same thing this summer with another player. All of the Harry abuse is just pointless and childish, have a think about it, they're all at it!! Let's just relax and have faith that all of the hard work to secure the player pays off and he makes the right choice. I think his experience and leadership will be invaluable and he's a player that will fit straight into our set up.
Harry - LCFC Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Someone head over to Loftus and murder Redknapp. I want Esteban playing in blue next season!
Kitchandro Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 QPR are just a disgrace. Don't anyone ever defend them again.
bovril Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 And to think some people actually supported these shitbags over Derby in the playoff final. Derby aren't even our rivals!
sphericalfox Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 why is fourthofficial retweeting indykalia tweets, it doesn't come across as ironic.
