Aleksz Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 So I'm watching Sky Sports, Jason Manford and Noel Gallagher are doing their Manchester City One to Eleven. The idea is your favourite eleven of who you've seen play for the team you support and I was curious to see who you'd lot would pick. This is mine, I'm only young so I imagine some of yours would be a lot more colourful than mine. Schmeichel Naughton Morgan Vitor Berner Knockaert Drinkwater Davies Mahrez Yakubu Fryatt
Mark_w Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 In terms of my favourites, Flowers Naughton Morgan Hobbs Berner Knockaert King James Dyer Waghorn Dickov Only saw Tim Flowers very briefly but he was my first favourite player. Missed the O'Neill era really. Obviously that's not the best eleven I've seen, but they're my favourite players in each position.

HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 This will certainly give an idea of ages. Flowers Kamara Elliott Walsh Whitlow Mahrez Lennon Izzet Tommy Wright - 1st one Heskey Vardy - he is a new favourite of mine. Kamara should have read Kaamark, damn euro correct always wants big Chris K in a team.

65RosesFox Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 Kasper RDL Moore Morgan Konchesky Knockaert DD James Dyer Vardy Nugent This team broke so many records last season and got us back to the Prem after ten years so for that reason they automatically become my favourite. Sorry Walsh, Elliott, Izzet, Lennon, Heskey and possibly others, I hope you understand.

Carl the Llama Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 Pegguy Elliott Wes Taggart Mahrez King Lennon Izzet Lloyd Fryatt Nuge Like with others this is not what I think the best XI of my lifetime is, but the ones I developed unhealthy admiration for for one reason or another. The ones that probably need explaining are: Arphexad: What. A. Name. And those jogging bottoms! Love at first sight. King: Should be self-explanatory - I often forget he isn't Leicester born and bred. Mahrez: It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a City player. Yet to make a mark on my fantasy league though. Lloyd: Fryatt: I genuinely don't know what to say - man crush? Nuge: The cheeky smile, the occasional pearler, the commitment, the penchant for chasing small mammals - what's not to like?

fazzyfox Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 Flowers Kaamark Osman Elliott Guppy Izzett Lennon Macalister Lineker Walsh L.Cunningham Again personal favourites, I know we didn't get the peak condition Laurie Cunningham but he was uniquely gifted and enjoyable to watch. Walshy up front? As always we needed two Walshys, one at CB and one up front but up there he's a nuisance and no one can deal with him winning everything in the air. Gary Mills, Ian Wilson, Kevin Macdonald, Jari Rantanen, Alan Smith and Mahrez all made this a very difficult selection but the eleven looks pretty fluent and balanced apart from Guppy being more of a wing back than full back.

Bayfox Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 this is a difficult one for me as most of the best players I have seen play for leicester pulled on a city shirt under MON but played 532 and I would think 442 would suit most of my fave players so here goes. poole/flowers couldn't split the 2 loved poole but flowers was class. mills walsh pontus berner izzet gary mac draper tommy wright mk1 kevin campbell brief I know heskey

cc_star Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 A couple of Naughton over Kamaark gives a good idea of age (as does my selection) Poole Kamaark Walsh Elliot Whitlow Joachim Lennon Izzet Guppy Collymore Lineker Was tempted to select Walsh upfront too, his target man displays during that season. Super human Joachim - One of the most exciting players to grace our team... And that goal against Portsmouth at the City Ground. Legendary!
