dylanlegend Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Surprised he's stuck with king after he played and travelled to Andorra mid-week especially with cambiasso / drinky presumably being fitter. Unsure whether that midfield will do well against a physical team like Stoke
foxoffderby Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He's not even played a minute of league football. Can we leave the "I told you so"s until later please? He did for Charlton and they were relegated
OLD norfox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Not yet but BBC radio Leicester does! http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_radio_leicester Now it works!
Brooksy Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He did for Charlton and they were relegated Didn't know Charlton were in the prem last season.
JonnyBoy Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Can see Vardy/Cambiasso coming on around the hour mark, possibly with Drinky as well. Fantastic bench that is, and that's without Powell/Lawrence as well. Surprised Simpson isn't there though. might be far too late, I know Hammond has done a job but to start him in front of one of our best ever signings who is now fit to play, really
Guest ttfn Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 He did for Charlton and they were relegatedConfused by when you think this happened.
Spudulike Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Not yet but BBC radio Leicester does! http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_radio_leicester They're talking about rugger or summat. No idea what they're on about.
foxoffderby Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Didn't know Charlton were in the prem last season. that makes two of us
trabuch Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Is Foxes Player commentary working for anyone ?? No - why won't they turn it on for the build up? W4nkers.
stevelcfc Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Just because your name is Cambiasso doesn't mean your granted an instant 1st team spot, people need to get over that. You have to earn your place in the first team, and in Nige's opinion he hasn't done that, whereas King and Hammond have. They dealt well with Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal and there's no reason why they can't cope with Stoke.
Corky Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 King and Hammond seem to play better together than with another midfielder, Pearson will probably wait until next week and bring Drinkwater and James back as a pair. Hamer's got a great chance and I hope he takes it to put pressure on Kasper.
st albans fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 No - why won't they turn it on for the build up? W4nkers. Rugby is on DAB (which I assume is also the internet feed) and footy on 104.9
Master Fox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Just because your name is Cambiasso doesn't mean your granted an instant 1st team spot Yes it does.

That depends what happens between now and 5pm corky. if king and Hammond do well and we get a result of some kind then he won't change things

bovril Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 It's not on a rainy Tuesday night so we should win this today...

They dealt well with Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal and there's no reason why they can't cope with Stoke. I could see an argument for dropping Hammond as he struggled in the last game, you'd be hard pushed to drop King who's been very influential so far. I thought he'd bring Drinkwater back in today but then he'd probably go with Hammond next to him. To be honest I think even Nige has been surprised with how well the back up CMs have done. It's striking that balance between bringing in your best players who've had injuries and little game time or keeping on form players in the side. Hopefully NP has got it right today but I would like our best CM pairing back in the side asap. Nugent needs to play well today with Vardy raring to take his place.
Babylon Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 So long as they are playing well no problem with them keeping their place. You want players pushing themselves to the limit to get in the team and to stay in it. Bad man management wise to sack them off as soon as certain players come back into contention, as they then know no matter how well they play they will never get into or stay in the team. If they don't perform then you integrate others back in.
Rob.D Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Any radio streams for this (Liam??) am at the arse end of the country today so can't make the game or listen to radio Leicester... Cheers
GingerrrFox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 The rest I can deal with but Vardy has to start now he is fit. Simply has to start.
kingfox Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 Hamer to drop one into his own net, Knockaert to come off bench and score equaliser. Shows strength in depth, Hammond & King I'm happy to continue with them, Hammond wasn't great against Arsenal but wasn't bad either. Tough game, Stoke having Bojan, Moses, Walters & Crouch starting, with Arnautovic, Assaidi & Diouf to come off the bench is a pretty scary thought, but let's see how it goes would be happy with another point.
dedlock Posted 13 September 2014 Posted 13 September 2014 The midfield did well for 60 minutes against Chelsea away.Stoke will be a physical test, unlike at Stamford Bridge we have 2 quality midfielders to bring on. NP shows loyalty to players who perform well. While we are all eager to see the new signings perform, despite disrupted training with internationals away,NP will have seen how those around have integrated.I have faith in he and his team ,they will have carefully analysed how Stoke set up and how we are likely to get the best result. I won't be surprised to see 0-0 at half-time,a few changes 2nd half, hopefully nick a result.
