lcfcsnow Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 To be fair you'd moan whatever team we put out I said earlier we shouldn't play Ulloa. Coloccini and Taylor as the central defenders, we've made their day leaving Vardy out.
ScouseFox Posted 18 October 2014 Author Posted 18 October 2014 looks like a complete change of game plan and a move away from everything we're good at? we win games pressing from the front, getting the ball back and using pace to attack teams when they're most vulnerable. so our two best "defend from the front"-ers are dropped, and our two best players on the break are also dropped. to have ulloa up front by himself he needs a nugent or a vardy to either link the play up to him or to get onto his lay offs and flick ons by running beyond. who's going to make any runs at all? all hopes pinned on albrighton today. go on lad.
Mark_w Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 I said earlier we shouldn't play Ulloa. Coloccini and Taylor as the central defenders, we've made their day leaving Vardy out. It takes an awful lot to be the most boring person on Foxes Talk, kudos.
foxfanazer Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 I said earlier we shouldn't play Ulloa. Coloccini and Taylor as the central defenders, we've made their day leaving Vardy out.Not sure they'll be too happy when he comes off the bench and terrorises them
EnglishOxide Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Stop moaning. At least wait until it doesn't work! This. They've clearly gone in with a plan. I think we've gone to retain the ball better rather than allowing it to be a classic away counter attacking performance. Wouldn't be suprised to see Schuup to see a lot of the ball and used as an outlet.
Richmondfox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Hopefully 433/451 will work with the wingers coming back to help out. Bring Vardy and Knockaert on when Newcastle are tired and frustrated. I would like to see us score some long shots.
Guest Bilo Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Plenty of options on the bench for the second half and still strong at the back and in the middle. This could be a more sensible team than it appears at first glance.
ealingfox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Should be giving us a 0-3 walkover for this. Embarrassingly small-time and tin pot.
foxoffderby Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Bare minimum a 30 minute delay... at least 30 mins to fix the problem then the gates will open around 50k people to enter the ground, I think it will be 4pm at the earliest if we do get a game.
Captain... Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Depends on how Newcastle line up, 442 against 451 should mean we win the midfield battle and cover the flanks Schlupp and Alrighton getting forwards to support Ulloa and we all know how many chances he needs to scored. Hoping Tiote and Cisse are struggling from their midweek exploits, and Janmatt, Krul and Dummett where all injury doubts so hopefully notfully fit, keep it tight early on, keep the ball frustrate them and their heads will drop and he fans will get on their back, we bring on Vardy. Boom 1-0, thank you very much. This all relies on not doing anything stupid and giving away a soft goal from a set-piece.
st albans fox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 The delay should work to their advantage as we are starting with a formation/players they probably hadn't catered for. Pearson will not be happy.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 First time in a while the Tiggers haven't taken over the online Radio Leicester stream. I'm so happy I can listen to live, uninterrupted exclusive radio commentary of a bloke fixing a screen.

ealingfox Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Longest international break in history after Schmeichel chucks two points away, now kick-off delayed. I can feel a hammering coming. Changing my prediction from 3-1 to 5-0.

MPH Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Classic Pearson. Either an unchanged side or a completely mental looking one. He's left our 2 most important attacking players on the bench! More often than not he's right. In we trust. I'd say that our most important attacker is the one with the most goals...

Kitchandro Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 I agree with scouse. We should be playing to our strengths. There's no need to plan specifically for a side who we are better than like Newcastle. But even if we were, this is not that. At least the midfield 3 is right though.
lgfualol Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Apparently players arent allowed to warm up. Is this screen the size of the pitch or something?
Kitchandro Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 I like Jeff Stelling but it's starting to dawn on me how many times he says 'con-cerned' and its winding me up.
bovril Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Martin Atkinson refereeing this one after Serbia vs Albania mid week...
darko2k7 Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Person can not win not matter what team in picked people pick fault.

benpicko Posted 18 October 2014 Posted 18 October 2014 Person can not win not matter what team in picked people pick fault. Only problem I see is Schlupp still being in whilst Vardy not being there
