Jimothy Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 People talking about lack of equality, but this guy proves that even clearly disabled people can reach the highest heights.
AKCJ Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 Thing is, he's a ****ing shite footballer. But i've never seen anyone as good at positioning as he is. He only scores tap ins because he's always at the right place at the right time. Fair play to him, even if he is a ****.
The Doctor Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 Jamiest ****er in football - judging by when he was here he's either shite at everything except goal hanging, or has an attitude as ugly as his face, and yet he's now got as good an international record as the obviously better Dave Nugent.
Dan Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 His anticipation is superb and that's a vital aspect for a forward like him. I agree with those who claim his all-round game isn't up to much but I think you can get away with that when you're scoring this many.

Have you seen him play outside the two matches against us? Scored quite a few from outside the box or the edge of the box and he places them perfectly every time, usually basically just passes them inside one of the posts
benpicko Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Phk50j87L5w Like look at his goals and I'm not sure where the tap-ins thing comes from, yes he scores them also but that's because he's got fantastic positioning as well
Strokes Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 People talking about lack of equality, but this guy proves that even clearly disabled people can reach the highest heights.their journey is harder though, they have to start out playing out of position at a lower league club. Didums
Fox92 Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 He scores more than tap-ins tbf. His header against Arsenal was superb as what his turn and shot (though I can't remember who that was against). Being there to score tap-ins isn't jammy, it's anticipating where the ball is going to be, ask Lineker.
Corky Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 The press reporters who say he's popular with all the public clearly haven't been linked to this thread.
Unabomber Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 Who cares if he's ugly? looks don't get you goals Giroud is an exception tho.
Corky Posted 28 March 2015 Posted 28 March 2015 Who cares if he's ugly? looks don't get you goals Giroud is an exception tho. They should really, we'd be near the top with Vardy, James, Mahrez, Knocky, Kasper and Drinky all in double figures. Plus Esteban's beautiful bald head.

He scores tap ins. With regularity.
m4DD0gg Posted 30 March 2015 Posted 30 March 2015 Would have thought most people would be happy that england finally have a striker who can actually score.
Stadt Posted 30 March 2015 Posted 30 March 2015 I'd understand a lot more of the adulation if he'd twatted one in to make it 1-0 in the last 10 minutes but he came on and scored against Lithuanua in a game where Sterling, Rooney and Welbeck all played well
Corky Posted 30 March 2015 Posted 30 March 2015 Would have thought most people would be happy that england finally have a striker who can actually score. I know, it's not like we have Rooney (7 in 7 for England) or Welbeck (top scorer in the qualifiers) in our squad.

Scores tap in Well that's clearly wrong from the daily mail as if you watch the link above he scores 5 from outside of the area. 4 if you don't include the heavy deflection of the villa player.

Our very own Lineker was a master of it.

ScouseFox Posted 30 March 2015 Posted 30 March 2015 According to certain people on this forum, tap ins, penalties and cup goals don't count. further proof that gallagher is actually the best player to ever play for us (his penalties do count cos of that cool run up he did)
Fox92 Posted 30 March 2015 Posted 30 March 2015 According to certain people on this forum, tap ins, penalties and cup goals don't count. I know it's different rules for different players.
StanSP Posted 30 March 2015 Posted 30 March 2015 further proof that gallagher is actually the best player to ever play for us (his penalties do count cos of that cool run up he did) goal-keepers actually admitted to diving out of the way as opposed to thinking that's where he was going to hit it
