col is right we do need to change things to stay up. why he thinks changing one of our better performers is a good idea is an odd one but each to their own.

Best player on the park tonight yet as guilty as anyone of our main problem - wastefulness.

You keep banging that same old drum, I wont abuse you by saying you know nowt, you probably do. But the team, with Cambiasso in it, and many feel is our best player, is frankly woeful. We will be related without changing what we are doing. I've said how I think we should. Others will have their own views.

At this rate, people will be going on about how good Cambiasso is when we are effectively related by February. We need changes.

WHY WOULD WE START WITH OUR BEST PLAYER YOU SIMPLETON!

On that note, good night all.

That is probably the worst piece of writing I've ever seen on this forum in both content and formatting wise lol well done.

We've signed a good player who has gone on to be one of our best players and because there 17 odd players performing worse than him and we are bottom as a result that means he was a bad signing lol talk me through that before we go any further. Look at the amount of praise he's getting in this thread, and I am apparently the one who made their mind up in the summer lol you wanne open your eyes and have a look whats right in front of you.

As I've said several times, but you keep ignoring, our problem lies with set piece and at the back, if your too stupid to see that mr football manager more fool you, feel free to repeat yourself for the 5th time but don't expect a reply next time.

Please don't call me a sheep for taking the piss out of you for bringing up Cattlemole, check back to when you suggested you'll find I was the first person to take the piss out of you and as I don't intend to drop it for awhile I'll probably be the last.

The proof IS IN the pudding, the whole forum is laughing at you. If your opinions were worth anything you'd probably be able to find more than a couple of other village idiots that agree with you. As it is your just a clueless footballing non entity merely around for the entertainment of others, at least a troll winds people up on purpose for a laugh, the sad thing is you actually believe the rubbish you put on here.

For the love of god, learn how to at least put a piece of writing into some sort of readable format.

lol, for all that diatribe, your only productive suggestion is that we are bottom because we can't defend set pieces and 'at the back'

And that's it? well phew, that was worth waiting for... When I said 'I'm all ears', I meant open to your insight, not bore me to tears with an explanation about as brief as you could ever come up with.

Try harder.. Cmon..

Col, most of the time I agree with what you say but I can't agree with anything you're saying regarding Cambiasso. He's easily been one of our best performers on a regular basis since he came into the side, the only bad game he's had in my opinion was at Palace (but the whole team was terrible that day). We need to be more clinical in attack and have better play from out wide (both in attack and defence). That is what is holding the team back at this moment in time.

I'm more surprised at the fact that you didn't mention Lee ****ing Cattermole in one of your posts.

And I'm sure Mablo has made more productive and varying suggestions than you give him credit for, Colin.

But to each their own.

Mate it's all opinions, you don't need to do this 'don't know out about football malarky'. To do so, is to drop to the level of Pablo.

Yours is that, mine is that we have a wafer thin midfield,,not helped by the presence of Cambiasso. That's all..

So, by ultimately bad-talking everybody else around you, even if they collectively have reasonable doubt about your theories and come up with sensible suggestions as to how to deal with our current shortcomings, you'll naturally always end up as the knight in the shining armour.

Now, isn't that social?

Come on Col, Cambiasso was one of if not our best player again today, and has been for a while now, plenty of the team deserve stick but he isn't one of them, nothing to do with reputation, bias or wanting to see things that aren't there. Simply using my eyes tells me everything I, any pretty much everyone else it seems, needs to know.

Thought he was very good tonight. Saw passes which other players would have seen slightly too late. Shame he didn't get his goal (should have scored) but other parts of his game were fine. One time he did try to be too fancy but most of the time whatever he did try did come off for the better. Much better than James tonight I'd say.

On the ball..our best player tonight (note that)....... lol..is that clear?

Off the ball is where we have a problem with him in the side. That said, we have lots of problems right across the team.

But what I won't do is to ignore what I think is a major weakness. Our midfield. We look a better side with King in it. Thracian is right IMO.

Personally I thought Pearson was at fault last night for playing 2 out and our wingers. I'd rather have seen us bring DD or King in for Schlupp or Mahrez from the start to give us a bit more protection in the middle of the park. Liverpool always had one more man than us in there, and it told.

Cambiasso is definitely going to fail to track a runner for a goal tonight now lol

After failing to close down Gerrard who was wide open after Schmeichel parried a shot, instead of holding it, allowing Sterling to backheel it.

Tell me how you're going to prevent that from happening as a footballer - unless you're psychic.

Anything to prove your theory. Anything.

This sort of thing makes me laugh! When Pearson changes the side to suit the game n don't play wingers everyone moans. He puts wingers back in the side & 'goes for it' like everyone wanted and now everyone is saying should have changed the way we play to tackle them! Individual errors are letting us down, individuals not being good enough for the prem!

Thought he played well imho but how did a man of his calibre miss THAT shot?!!!

You're generalising. WBA at home we played NO WINGERS. We had no width and I knew before the game we would barely create a thing. We lost that game because we decided to go with 4 Cm's in the same team. It was nonsensical. Last night I didn't say we should completely set up to nullify the opposition. If you read my post I said we should have still had a wide man on the pitch, but I'd have stuck another centre mid in there to give us the extra protection. I didn't say we should set up negatively.

Was decent tonight a step ahead of all the other players. We probably brought him in to sit in front of the defence and dictate play, the problem is he's the only midfielder we have who looks capable of picking a forward pass, seeing runs other don't etc. So he's having to go further forward to influence the team in a positive way.

Obviously I could go into more detail about our consistently bad defending but you know, in a subject named "Estaban Cambiasso" it would be going completely off topic. Unlike yourself I like to keep things relevant.

Cambiasso is one of our most creative midfielders. At time's he looks on a completely different level to the rest of the team. To pick him out and blame him for goals conceded is mind boggling. Last night two out of the three goals were assisted by Wes Morgan. My only criticism of Wes is that he can't seem to either get his foot through the ball or attack a header, leaving two simple goals. Could this be the midfields fault for not tracking runners? Possibly, but the chances shouldn't have been there in the first place. This is still not Cambiasso's fault!

I agree that at times our midfield looks paper thin but how is that Cambiasso's fault? We do need an extra man in midfield in my opinion. The gaps in the midfield start because one of either Cambiasso or James are trying to fill in the hole behind Vardy and Ulloa. This will leave us exposed.

I'd add Drinkwater and remove either Schlupp, Vardy or Mahrez. Have James sitting a bit deeper (in my opinion he was poor last night) and allow Drinkwater and Cambiasso to play.

Tonight we can blame individuals for errors (yes I'm talking about Morgan) but we cannot blame individuals for how the team is set-up.
