@TimPearsonMedia: The word is that #LCFC have a 'significant amount of money' to spend this month.

Goes on to say we are in for Corluka, Defoe (no surprise) and teammate Michael Bradley - not sure how 'ITK' this guy is though.

According to reports we are also interested in Defoe's team Michael Bradley too

Looking through his twitter, I seriously doubt he's as ITK as he claims. Seems to enjoy showing off the ones he got right (including ones that never actually happened, just ones he said that other media repeated later), yet there's a number that haven't come to fruition and he's not said a word on them.

Doubt he actually has any info.

Papers this morning reporting Jack Cork to leave Southampton after rejecting a new contract. While it may be agent talk, I think he would be a great signing, got a chance for him, though he could command a place in a higher placed team also.

Apparently Toronto are in for Sebastian Giovinco. I know we aren't Real Madrid but surely we'd have as good a chance as them of snagging him, even if it's just on a six month loan?

He'd be a great signing but looks like Maloney is nailed on whom plays a similar role to Giovinco.

Stoke saying they will allow Huth to leave on loan.

Huth and Was? The rest of the premier league will have to be wearing bubble wrap under there shin pads!!!!

To the tune of last Christmas

Andrej Kramaric

Jose dangled the bone

But would

Send you on loan

This year

Despite his dad's fears

He signed for

Leicester Leicester

Woah

I've sang this over and over again trying to make sense of it, in the first verse the syllables don't work in anyway whatsoever but I think that adds to its charm.

It's a yes from me.

BUT WOULD, SEND YOU ON LOOOOOAN

Itd have to be stretched out but

Andrej = last Christmas

Kramaric = I gave you my heart

Jose dangled the bone = but the very next day

(But would) send you on loan = you have it away

I'm not a big fan of the Chelsea themed chants though, so perhaps:

Andrej

Kramaric

He's our number 40

He scores goals for me

This year

He'll make us all cheer

When he scores something special

special woah

Flanagan or Enrique from Liverpool on loan? They been mentioned? Not sure if JF is injured as he looked excellent last season.

Huth being offered out - would also be very handy.

I wouldn't offer him out - he looks a bit too handy for me...

I'm definitely going to get laughed at on here for mentioning a winger/forward who plays for the UAE national team, and is currently with Emirati side Al Ain.

His name is Omar Abdulrahman. He's 23 years old and he tore Bahrain a new one in the Asian Cup the other day. "The mighty Bahrain!" I hear you cry (sarcastically). Granted, the game I saw him play in wasn't against the more illustrious sides in the competition, like a South Korea, Australia or Japan.

But he was behind everything good about the Emirati's play. He created chance after chance after chance for his team. He displayed excellent ball control, quick feet, good skills and an eye for a pass.

So, I did some digging. According to Wikipedia he won the Emirati Player of the Year, Fans' Player of the Year and Young Arab Player of the Year for the 2012-13 campaign. During that season he also had a two-week trial at none other than Manchester City.

Here are a couple of links about him and his recent Asian Cup exploits.

Asian Cup a chance for Abdulrahman to enhance reputation: http://uk.mobile.reuters.com/article/idUKKBN0KQ03220150117?irpc=932

Mop-top Abdulrahman shows he's a cut above at Asian Cup: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/mop-top-abdulrahman-shows-hes-cut-above-asian-053209689--sow.html

Based on all this, is this the kind of character you'd want Leicester to take a chance on? He's young, hungry and a potential superstar. Plus, the asset and cash-rich Gulf would have a Leicester City player to idolise. If we did take a punt, I for one would be cautiously excited.

Would never get a work permit... Unless we bid more than £10M of course.
