Ozwin Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Considering we have a defensive minded manager we look utterly woeful at the back. Like ridiculously bad.
TonyN11 Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I only saw the 2nd half, some daft mistakes but....... I was proud of them!! Thought Mahrez was class and very impressed with James. Agree with the comments about set pieces - at both ends of the pitch
Nalis Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I fear the damage was done v West Brom, Burnley, Newcastle, etc...
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Don't think it was as bad as people make out. Most of us seemed to agree it was pretty even first half and we did have chances in the second. Can't excuse the defensive mistakes though, must be better than that.
justfoxes Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Got a bet with a dingle fan for a bottle of jd that we don't get relegated better bug it now whilst it's cheap at tesco, mind you tho the way it's going in likely to drown my sorrows with it !! Thinking after this game and talking to a mate recons if PEARSON does go why not try a Cambiasso/Phillips caretaker role !!
Eddy Kellys Heroes Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Love you Nige, thanks for the good times, but it's time for us to say farewell.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Wes not taking ownership, sticking his stupid leg out with a half arsed attempt. Why didn't anyone shout out for him to leave it. He didn't need to foul Lambert as other players could've gotten back. Cambiasso flatters to deceive, his passes aren't that great, he doesn't play passes to peoples strengths but he looks confident when doing them so he must be good. James looked good, shame it wasn't Drinky having a go with those chances. I thought we looked good when De Leat was on the overlap. This one is on the players not Pearson. Our players don't look as sharp, they aren't reading the ball cutting out passes or making quick moves until down to 10 men. Owen kills any enjoyment, he could make a threesome boring. Unless he is talking about himself.
ADK Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I thought we played well and enjoyed the match. Just need to keep the faith and all that.
OxfordshireFox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 why not try a Cambiasso/Phillips caretaker role !! Thats an awful idea
Larry_LCFC Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Clueless Kasper should have been sent off, Cambiasso should have scored and we should have done better against an average Liverpool. Poor tactics and a woeful performance AGAIN. Awful.
Danno Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Fvcking dreadfful. Hope Schlupp and Schmeichel never pull on a Leicester shirt again pair of useless *****
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I thought we played ok, except of course for calamity morgan and that JOKE of a goal keeper. Surely Nige will drop him now. Thought Cambiasso was class, as was James. And why did Algeria send the crap Mahrez back, can we have the one we sent out, ie the one that can control a ball. Impressed with Schlupp as well. Finally, is Adam Smith that bad a keeper that twat Dane keeps him out of the squad. I cant even bring myself to mention his name. You're shit aaaaarrrggghh. Everytkme he takes a goal kick from now on. And we thought Ricardo was bad..... Cambiasso's miss was one of the worst I've seen at the KP? Probably the worst.. And yet he was 'class'..unbelievable
teblin Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Did think we played as badly as some are making out. Problem is like Saturday we gave goals away. I wouldn't mind if we get cut open by class but we are not, we are gifting goals. Sign of a relegation team I guess. What a shame, the start of the season promised so much.
theessexfox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Cambiasso's miss was poor, could see what he was aiming for but slid it marginally wrong, terrible mistake, compensated by us scoring soon after. Konchesky is a liability on the ball, De Laet did well.
OxfordshireFox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Hope Schlupp and Schmeichel never pull on a Leicester shirt again pair of useless ***** Schlupp.....what game were you watching!!!!!!
ForzaFerrari Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 A dramatic match of unforced errors. I cannot remmber how many times has Wes put the team in trouble recently... Btw, maybe we can give King a chance and try to bring Knockaert back on the pitch.
MC Prussian Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 A night of jokes. Cambiasso's miss..because he's Cambiasso he'll probably get away scot free on here. Imagine if it had been Schlupp or Nugent! Morgan's miskick then his daft sending off Kasper's terrible handling. What will be overlooked (of course) is the fact that we had no runners marking Lallana, Gerrard or Henderson..all three, completely unmarked and all three..midfielders... For all the effort in the world, we look every bit a relegation team. And that was against a Liverpool side absolutely there for the taking. Cue the usual excuse merchants. Cue the usual Lee Cattermole© ad sponsored by Col city fan.
Richmondfox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Gerrard the disabled can do one. Never a penalty, yes there was contact, he made contact with Kasper.
theessexfox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Cambiasso's miss was one of the worst I've seen at the KP? Probably the worst.. And yet he was 'class'..unbelievable He was largely brilliant bar the miss, you have another chip on your shoulder, it's your new Redknapp saga... always bringing up Cambiasso.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Was & Cambi best players... Even with his miss, says it all when he's still one of our better players with that awful attempt of a shot. Whole team poor. Prodigal son Mahrez was also poor for me, but Kasper, Morgan, De Laet, James & Schlupp were woeful.
adam95581 Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Did we expect anything out of this game? No. Did we create good chances? Yes - enough to win the game. Did we carry on fighting to the end even with a man disadvantage and a 2 goal deficit? Yes. For me, these are the points that matter; taking the last three games in isolation (because we've returned to playing a traditional 4-4-2) we have created multiple chances, scored 3 goals, looked positive with the ball and generally given a good account of ourselves. We are going to concede, we are going to make mistakes; but if we carry on scoring then we will pick up points and will eventually go on a decent run! Keep the faith - I still fancy us to run it down to the wire and turn it around in time for our favourable run at the end!!
Danno Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Schlupp.....what game were you watching!!!!!!He was absolutely pathetic as per usual. poverty footballer.
hesapeepingtom Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I only saw the 2nd half, some daft mistakes but....... I was proud of them!! Thought Mahrez was class and very impressed with James. Agree with the comments about set pieces - at both ends of the pitch what exactly did mahrez provide?
RowlattsFox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Scored the first goal 2 games in a row yet lost both.
