Pearson to Face Investigation?

Recommended Posts

Oh I don't know, sacking him for gross misconduct could save us a couple of million quid payout...

Could cost a huge amount in legal fees to try to prove that it was gross misconduct due to the level of provocation

If Pearson is found guilty of misconduct then possibly the club could dismiss him without compensation, that might be the motivation behind this.

If that's what he said, then he should be ashamed of himself, and kicked out the club. That is dragging the good name of the Leicester City, into the dirt.

He should be aware of his position, within the club, and think before he opens his mouth.

Sounds to me that he's a frustrated and worried man, who's losing his grip.

And you said that. You.

If the comment is true, Pearson is out of order taking the rant to that level.

But until the investigation comes out, a lot of what is being said is likely to be Chinese whispers.

They planted the gobby fan?!

No, obviously not, but this could be an opportunity for them. It'll certainly strengthen their hand in any compensation negotiations.

The club said they are looking at the incident, not that Pearson is under investigation. The conclusion could very well be that the fan gets banned.

Quiet please! Invetigation in progress

These replies came after Stringer asked if anybody had heard anything from the bench. See the bottom one. Ian replied to this asking if he really said that (a tweet that's he's now deleted). Don't know if it's linked to this article but worth pointing out that this article could be sparked by one made up tweet by a 16 year old.

Good work mate to find that. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they used that

Mirror reporting the club are carrying out sb internal investigation after Pearson allegedly told a fan to "**** off and die."

Mirror sensationalizing again.

His mate Andy shouted to him " we are playing like Cov!"

to which Pearson replied

" **** Cov, Andy"

Maybe he should let off a fire extinguisher in La Manga instead?

This seems a far more likely outcome. I certainly hope it is as well.

I don't think banning the fan is either fair or appropriate.

Obviously that behaviour should be discouraged, but a formal warning and a letter of apology to Pearson would be better in my book. People care a lot about football and this club and sometimes people's emotions get the better of them.

A headbutt maybe instead?

Do we know what was said to NFP to warrant such a response?

Do you know that was the response? Considering the source seems to be an illiterate person tweeting it to Stringer then deleting it.

I'm asking as some want to see the fan banned and yet nobody seems to know what was said to Pearson.
