MPH Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 He's played 10 times this season for spurs. At worst they are top 10 at best top 6. We are bottom of the table, you baloonheads! Of course he'll improve our team.

MPH Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 hasnt he been sent off twice and looked remarkably average in most of the other 8 games though? We are bottom of the table. Remarkably average would be fine for us!
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Not everyone who plays for a top 6 side is a top 6 player, plenty of them around, he is in that category, but for us, at around 3m, get him in.
STUHILL Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Really surprised people don't want this guy. He was class for us before and I have hoped we would sign him permanently ever since! Get him in and play him at LB for now, with a move to RB in the future if needed He is better than we have.
Austin Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 If it means Konch is ejected from the starting XI I'm all for it. Thought be was superb during his loan here!
Rusko187 Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 I played LB when I was better as a RB, I was atrocious but than again I probably was at RB too! Point is it might be considered that Simpson could switch to our LB and Naughton takes our RB, these are Premiership players and as long as they play in a similar role they can have no complaints.
Babylon Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Tottenhams weakness has always been their defense and now we want to sign two of their rejects. I don't think so. I don't remember spurs being bottom recently. Perhaps you expect us to be signing the starting left back from a top 6 team.
Strokes Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 I don't remember spurs being bottom recently. Perhaps you expect us to be signing the starting left back from a top 6 team.Yes!That or someone foreign.
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 I don't remember spurs being bottom recently. Perhaps you expect us to be signing the starting left back from a top 6 team.We have only conceded 4 more goals than them though. Get fed up of hearing "he's a top six player" it's all bollocks spawned from fm playing herberts. When Newcastle were bottom, were all their players relegation fodder? And now their all midtable performers. Nonsense. Imo, if he signs he will become a regular starter, so therefore a championship player
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Oops, quoted wrong post. Sorry Babylon
Shipman Out Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Naughton is better than Simpson Naughton is better than De Laet Naughton is better than Koncheski Simple economics If you don't think he will improve what we have then I fear for your tiny football brain.
MHC Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Naughton is better than Simpson Naughton is better than De Laet Naughton is better than Koncheski Simple economics If you don't think he will improve what we have then I fear for your tiny football brain. This is correct.

NewburyFox Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 We could do a lot worse than looking at George Friend for a LB. He'd cost a few million mind but he's a very good player.
Callabinho Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Who's the chap who plays for Boro? He's having a great season for them.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Who's the chap who plays for Boro? He's having a great season for them.George Friend. Was on loan at my hometown club in Devon when he was a kid and had Something special then. He's only 27 which isn't too old
Haydos Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Said at the start of the season not going in for Cresswell was a mistake. Would be keen on Naughton but I feel like there might be better options out there.
NewburyFox Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Said at the start of the season not going in for Cresswell was a mistake. Would be keen on Naughton but I feel like there might be better options out there. Maybe we did, he just chose West Ham over us. Can't say I'd blame him to be fair.
Banks Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Said at the start of the season not going in for Cresswell was a mistake. Would be keen on Naughton but I feel like there might be better options out there. We did go in for him, West Ham got him instead.
Unabomber Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 We should've gone in harder with more intent.
Rocky Dennis Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Said at the start of the season not going in for Cresswell was a mistake. Would be keen on Naughton but I feel like there might be better options out there. I understand that Cresswell was indeed our No 1 target in the summer and an offer was made
Finn Claw II Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 A loan until the end of the season with an option to buy would be good. Gets him off their have bill Get it done!
Ric Flair Posted 13 January 2015 Posted 13 January 2015 Nathan Ake would solve a fair few of our problems.
