Shaun Maloney Wigan - Deal is OFF

Whatever it is he's a bell end. He's struggling for football at a team on the way to League 1 and was offered a chance back into the PL. I don't see anyone else taking a chance on him at his age now.

I'd have taken the move for free.

kind of agree although we don't know the circumstances.  The player agent conversation right now might be

'WTF you joking me right? - They walked? you complete and utter ****. I'm getting a new f****** agent - you can f*** right off'

6 months in the prem this year could be the boost he needs to secure a longer deal and make his name to prolong his career. Or he could just be a bit dim ... or there could have been valid reasons for him not wanting the move at the terms offered. Who knows apart from him

or he read this thread lol

Another blessing in disguise, ala McGoldrick. Quite what were doing still looking at very average championship players in our position I do not know though.

Once again the rules of FT transfers apply:

Imminent signing: Try to justify the signing of an average player, pulling out as many positives as possible.

Deal falls through: fvck the small time twat, was gonna be a poor signing anyway.

Leicester City’s talks with Shane Maloney have collapsed, the Mercury understands.

City had agreed a deal with the Scotland international’s club, Wigan Athletic, and opened talks with Maloney over a potential move to the King Power Stadium.

However, after several days of talks a deal could not be reached which suited both parties and City will now turn to alternative targets.

City had drawn up a deal with Wigan worth around £750,000 for Maloney, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Maloney is still expected to leave Wigan with the MLS a likely destination.

It is the second time a deal to try to bring a Latics player to City has fallen through after the collapse of the James McArthur transfer in the summer.

City have alternative targets and remain interested in Japan international Shinji Okazaki at German club Mainz.

Nobody wanted him here anyway apart from Ric.

Hopefully either Nathan Redmond or Demari Gray, are on the list of other targets.

Kind of glad, only looked good for Celtic. Didn't really stand out at Villa or Wigan for me.

Don't be so facetious. Everyone wanted him, they just kept it a secret.

I want that kid from MK Dons now, Alli.

He's a decent player who would offer us something different but he sounds like a greedy cvnt. If he wants more money, mate your on the way to being a League 1 player. If he wants a longer contract, Nugent scored 20 goals and got two years do what do you expect?
