I’m off to Benidorm for five days then five days in Alicante. It’s her birthday and we’re staying in the Barcelo for the first bit. 
A few of her relatives are going as well to Benidorm so lots of alcohol.

Would people recommend Marrakesh/Agadir around easter time weather wise?

 

Looking at an all inclusive with a 4 year old, but we've never being to Morocco before. We would still want to get out and explore a bit, as well as relax if that's possible 😅

Went MAlta a few years ago after Covid in easter and loved it.

If you do Seville, head to  El Rocío which is a town in  Doñana National Park. It has sand roads as the town is designed around horses, its very unique.

Off to Frigiliana (again) soon. Will try and walk to the lost village this time. Fancy a day trip to Granada, weighing up booking a hotel as bus times are terrible for a return day trip.

If you can I'd recommend staying over in Granada, it's very easy to get carried away with the tapas included with every drink, and the Alhambra lit up at night is stunning to see

I went to Marrakech in July . Very interesting place but very busy and unbelievably hot whenever you visit. The hotels are excellent and the food is amazing. 

The thing for me was how friendly the people were. Would definitely recommend

Visited Frigliana earlier this year and it’s a lovely little town. Found a nice pub that had doors at the back that looked over the valley. Beautiful.

Brought the Mrs away for her birthday to a nice little lodge near Basingstoke and went to visit Winchester today. It’s an amazing place and would recommended it to anyone. Been watching The Last Kingdom recently and was nice to see the statue to Alfred and other bits.

There are some brilliant cathedral towns and cities in the south. I stayed near Arundel for Goodwood recently and it’s an amazing place.

Wells, Ely, Canterbury are my 3 favourite English cathedrals. Canterbury is insane really, the scale of it. Arundel is cool just because it is dedicated to a member of the family who commissioned it, the audacity of which I like very much.

I did this in May and the weather in Agadir wasn’t the best, I know someone else who did it a year after and said the same. I know that’s not Easter but I guess Easter is likely to be cooler.

 

Generally, Agadir was ok but is like a basic European resort, I wouldn’t go back. I loved Marrakesh though, crazy place.

Brilliant few days in Ibiza. Went to unvrs, amnesia, Hi and Ushuaia. All fantastic clubs and world class dj lineups.

First time ever in an all inclusive. Wasn’t around much due to above clubbing schedule, but did spend a few hours in it on weds daytime. Spoke to crooked toothed jet2 happy clappers from Blyth, Basingstoke and Crawley. They don’t go to any of the clubs, sit at the hotel drinking the watered down booze and getting skin cancer all day everyday. One couple been coming to same hotel for 11 years!

It talked about there being plenty of "boobs and arse". 

Was thinking about booking when the Mrs pointed out it was "oo's and r's"

1 night in Edinburgh, 2 in York, and 1 in London in the days ahead. It's more of a work trip, but there will be time for golf in Scotland + great pubs and more in York. Been almost a decade since was last in York.

It’s a lovely place but I’m not sure it’s geared up for a stag, relatively few bars for a city of its size.

 

Wrocław or Krakow are better suited.
