NewburyFox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 With both Albrighton and Mahrez stronger on the right wing, I really don't think we need Lennon. A LB and CM should be the priorities for today, but I don't hold out much hope for either.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 I think Albrighton would be more up for a relegation scrap then Lennon to be honest.
MPH Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 John Percy @John__Percy 7s8 seconds ago Stoke are trying to agree a loan deal for Aaron Lennon with Spurs. No other moves, in or out, expected at this stage #scfc #thfc Burnley, hull? We have a chance. If Stoke want him, he's probably theirs.
Kierzz Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 How can people argue that Mark Albrighton is better than Aaron Lennon. Like Huth, Lennon is another class to the players we have currently in their positions. Also it will free up Mahrez to move into the centre or the left
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Not concerned about our quality on the wing. Don't see the need for him.

Also it will free up Mahrez to move into the centre or the left Mahrez has looked creative when playing centrally earlier in the season, so maybe that is Pearson's plan. Ulloa Kramaric Schlupp Mahrez Lennon Hammond / Cambiasso
lgfualol Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Would love to see Mahrez or Knocky in the middle but if it hasn't happened already, doubt it will
Robin JD Popley Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Spurs want to sell don't they? Long term, yes, but I think the Hull offer was on the provisio of a summer permanent and it would appear Lennon only wants a Loan at this stage which suits Spurs as they can readdress everything in the summer. So IF we signed him and stay up, he's probably ours for keeps. Likely outcome for whoever sign him.
Finchy Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Mahrez has looked creative when playing centrally earlier in the season, so maybe that is Pearson's plan. Ulloa Kramaric Schlupp Mahrez Lennon Hammond / Cambiasso Defensively, that is suicide in this league. We all know Mahrez just doesn't defend.
chapero82 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Defensively, that is suicide in this league. We all know Mahrez just doesn't defend. Mahrez is in a attacking role there so what does that have to do with defence
MC Prussian Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 I'm fcukin infuriated that we are wasting our time trying to sign wingers and strikers when we are horribly out of our depth in defence and central midfield. Drinkwater and King have been abysmal for the majority of this season and Wes Morgan has had a season to forget. We badly need a new left back as Konchesky is mince and De Laet showed on Saturday that he can't provide an attacking outlet when he has to constantly cut in and go back, disrupting our movement. We're on the verge of our season being a write off and yet Nigel thinks £30 million on 3 strikers is all we need to stay up. I'm not amused. We've really ballsed things up this season as it's evident the money is there but Pearson is too loyal to mediocre players. The fans are the ones that will ultimately pay the price. The window hasn't shut yet, though. For all it's worth, we've already got new cover at centre-back with Huth and it's still likely we're bringing in another much-needed and experienced central midfielder.
Finchy Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Mahrez is in a attacking role there so what does that have to do with defence Mainly because that formation would need Cambiasso or Hammond to have the performance of their life, in every ****ing game.
Suffolk exile Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 LENNON LATESTt All over then - not too sad about that....
chapero82 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 It's clear he won't come here anyway, complete non starter
Kitchandro Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 If they're not a left back I'm not interested at this point.
MPH Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 If they're not a left back I'm not interested at this point. So our failure/ inability ( call it what you like) to sign a LB , to you, means we dont need to strengthen any other position? Madness
lcfcfoz Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfers/11383459/Transfer-news-and-rumours-live.html I work in a hotel near East Midlands airport. Aaron Lennon is in the lobby area with a man and a woman in suits. I know Leicester's chief exec is Susan Whelan?? Not sure how concrete it is, but looks like a deal could be done at some point this afternoon/evening!!, 14.41Come on Aaron
