Stevosevic Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 This is a huge game, no doubt about it. Albrighton and Lawrence for the wings?
Spicer Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Albrighton and Knockaert I think. It is the central midfield that will be interesting with everybody injured except James.
Osavo Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I'd definitely start Albrighton, deserves his chance and sounds like he had a good game today. Also has a point to prove against the club who released him in the summer. Would love to see Lawrence start too, looks a quality young talent and I think he has real creativity. Obviously had a great loan spell and now will want to break into the first team. I'd go Hamer Simpson Wes Was De Laet James Drinkwater (if fit) Albrighton Nugent Lawrence Ulloa Hoping we might have a few new players before this though.
foxfan92 Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Really hope we can keep this momentum going now. We've been looking better and better for a while - had some bad luck when playing quite well (Spurs game comes particularly to mind) - but then we had a lot of good luck playing Hull - and perhaps we're due some. Normally centre of midfield is one area I think we've got sorted (even if the service isn't always great they all put in a good shift - even Hammond who seems to be a lucky charm for us when he does play - we seem to play better somehow). Guess we just have to field whoever is fit - I hope Cambiasso isn't that bad but I missed todays match unfortunately - so I didn't see it (anyone any ideas?) Its just a shame with how well our now 2 established wingers have played of late we're forced to change things there too with ACON taking place. Hopefully give some of the others a chance to shine like King and Hammond did for the first few games when given an unexpected chance to play. (And like Hamer has since Kasper's injury) Come on the Foxes - lets stuff the Villa boys 3 - 0!
SMX11 Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Whatever the result it will be low scoring. 1-0 or 2-1 Leicester.
SamB Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Don't think Lawrence is ready yet. Albrighton and knocky
Saxondale Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Knocky needs a proper run out again. Albrighton sounds like a good shout again too. De Laet to stay at right back. Moore or Was is a tricky onr. This should be a good un.
Weller in Tights Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Albrighton looked good today. Really looking forward to this game, I thought we were unlucky against Spurs, I missed the win at Hull but managed to get to the Liverpool game and now after today I feel there will be a significant lift in the confidence of the team. Come on City, the Villa game is now massive.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 You have to play Albrighton for me. Players against their old clubs and all that. You know he will give that little bit extra in this one.
kingfox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Too early to make any line up predictions, but I just hope some of our central midfielders are fit enough.
LCFC FOX Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Hamer Simpson Morgan Moore De Laet Albrighton James Drinkwater Knockaert Ulloa Nugent
DennisNedry Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I think it's too soon to start Lawrence. Pearson slowly introduced Knockaert, Mahrez and now Albrighton so I think he'll do the same with Tom. I don't think Knockaert is good enough so I'm at a loss at who to start on that wing. We also need to wait and see which CMs are fit.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I'm genuinely delighted we don't have an international break interrupting us, the confidence has clearly taken a huge boost and it's good to see that we didn't necessarily need Mahrez and Schlupp to remain creative. Villa are likely to be a different proposition to Newcastle based on their performance today, but the game is still winnable. They're winless since playing us on the 7th December and have only scored one goal since that game, so they're not exactly in great form themselves of late. If we play with confidence and get at them from the outset, we'll win. 1-0 Leicester, Nugent to score it.
Unabomber Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Hamer Simpson Was Wes De Laet James Cambiasso Drinkwater Albrighton Ulloa Nugent
Fox92 Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Got to win this one. Think it's a much easier fixture than Stoke too. We've got momentum and three good results now so I'm hoping we can secure three massive points.
lgfualol Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I want Albrighton so long as Ulloa is on the pitch too. I am not having good crosses to dwarves like Vardy when Ulloa could be in the box.
RowlattsFox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Huge weekend for us, win and we are right back in it. Burnley v qpr and west brom v hull mean points will be dropped somewhere. Unsure on our team, looks like the wingers did well today but not sure whether Knockaert and albrighton are good enough. I don't think it's the right game for Hammond but it depends who his fit. Got a draw all over it but hopefully we can sneak a win like today.
theessexfox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Didn't see the game today, how was Konchesky? I'd go: Hamer Simpson Was Wes De Laet Albrighton James Fit CM Knockaert Nugent Ulloa
Out Foxed Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Didn't see the game today, how was Konchesky? "konchesky has his pocket picked" was one quote i heard
theessexfox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I like the man but for me he's always looked like he has the potential for a disaster when he's on the ball.
CPW22 Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Albrighton and Knockaert I think. It is the central midfield that will be interesting with everybody injured except James. Pearson said after the game that King will be fit for next week. Cambiasso sub today was just precaution but he's not expecting Drinkwater to be fit.
Buzzell Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 I'd go with.. Hamer Simpson Morgan Was De Laet Albrighton James Drinkwater/Cambiasso (depends who's fit) Knocky Nugent Ulloa
GingerrrFox Posted 3 January 2015 Posted 3 January 2015 Hamer Simpson Wasilewski Morgan De Laet Knockaert James Cambiasso/King (Dependant on injuries) Lawrence Nugent Ulloa
