NGoloMode Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Last season. When we were relegation fodder most of the year. Others have improved a lot more and we've brought in a better midfield. What logic is this.. makes it even more impressive that he scored that many goals in a relegation threatened team. If Ulloa wasn't play for us last season we'd most likely be sitting in the Championship right now. Give him some respect.. Kramaric on the other hand did nothing of note.

To be fair, the latter only came aboard about halfway through last season and thus had four months less to acclimatize. That makes about as much sense as taking half an apple and comparing it to a whole one.

A year later and Kramaric still hasn't 'acclimatized' but thats just my opinion.
fuchsntf Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 There is only one answer to both sides of the argument... Ring , mail, talk to the Godfather numero uno, Mr Claudio Ranieri F F S, PLAY HIM give him a 3-5 game run, then we can start to dislike, like, hate ,love, idolise this 8mil Croation. Then the thread, can take on another tone, or another slant.
MC Prussian Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Ulloa hit the ground running if I remember. A year later and Kramaric still hasn't 'acclimatized' but thats just my opinion. Ulloa was one of our main strikers (alongside Nugent, then Vardy) at the start of last season and that's how Pearson saw it fit. In addition to that, Ulloa had previous UK football experience with Brighton. Kramaric on the other hand joined a team with an already established strikeforce. Personally, I'd still love to see more of Kramaric in a blue shirt before I come to a more thorough conclusion. Or else he'll have to gain match practice by going out on loan.
Bettsj2 Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 We don't know what Kramaric can do. He can chip it really well into the opposing keepers arms.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Ulloa hardly hit the ground running either, if he did he quickly fell over. I think people are forgetting why we bought Kramaric.
Mike Oxlong Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Now or never for Kram. If we aren't going to give him a chance if Vardy's out we may as well get him off the wage bill.
EnglishOxide Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Ulloa hit the ground running if I remember. A year later and Kramaric still hasn't 'acclimatized' but thats just my opinion. A year later we are top. It's got nothing to do with climatising and everything to do with Claudio not wanting to tinker with a winning team. Simple as. No player forces their way into a team through training well. They get their chances through injuries, cup games and underperformance.
dannythefox Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 One question to all the kramaric fans do you play him or sign another striker in January and try push for top 6?
filbertstreet Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 One question to all the kramaric fans do you play him or sign another striker in January and try push for top 6? I'd just stroke his hair for another few seasons

volpeazzurro Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 One question to all the kramaric fans do you play him or sign another striker in January and try push for top 6? Not aware of anyone better avaliable. January notoriously poor value also.
dannythefox Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Not aware of anyone better avaliable. January notoriously poor value also. l'll name one for without trying Charlie Austin
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Right....if Vardy is out tomorrow...play Kramaric and let's see what he can do. It's about time he's either given a go..or sold on
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 I'm just not excited by Austin..I know loads are. I see him as a better version of Ulloa.. He knows where the goal is but he's too slow to play the game we play. The thought of playing some games with Austin and Ulloa up top fills me with a dread of going to long ball and aiming for their heads. Austin alongside Vardy..that I get. But I'm not sure personally. Would love to see Slimani at the club.

dannythefox Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Ayoze,Naismith, long, kone, diouf are 5 that would improve our fire power and are better than kramaric
weller54 Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Austin is a proven PL goalscorer though.. 18 last season with a relegated team.. Enough said!
foxes21 Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Austin does not fit in our side at all. We'd lose so much of our speed on the counter if he played the no.10 role. He's not that much better then Ulloa.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Austin does not fit in our side at all. He's not that better then Ulloa ffs. No, he is...he is better than Leo. I love Leo, he's a battler and gives it his all. He's also too slow AND has started to snatch at chances...the sign of a srriker who isn't playing enough. Austin is more of a poacher and would score more. But we are top of the Prem. Top of the most competitive division in the world. Is Austin the answer if we were to lose Vardy for a spell? I don't think he's good enough personally.
(.) (.) Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 My favourite Roses tune. It's a belting tune. Mersey Paradise is my favey.
foxes21 Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 So the only logicial reasoning to buy Austin would be to replace Ulloa. And right now, Ulloa does not need replacing.
yorkie1999 Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 So the only logicial reasoning to buy Austin would be to replace Ulloa. And right now, Ulloa does not need replacing. The logical reason is that he's a proven premiership goalscorer whereas ulloa , who admittedly has scored goals, he's not scoring at the moment, keeps fluffing chances and we need goals now to keep the momentum going.
