ScouseFox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 his corner's were always pretty bad. his free kicks were just great tho.
Richmondfox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Two tabloids today describe gallaghers free kick as stunning ,quality and class Can't believe I'm asking this but could he cut it In the premiership What is your opinion? No chance, the players we have are struggling to cut it in the pre let alone someone who's way below them. Burnt his bridges at the club. These posts crop after someone from a lower team steps up in a cup game, they were only playing Sheff Utd.
Kitchandro Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Christ we are desperate aren't we? He's way too slow and weak for this level. Then again, he got way too much stick for being a decent yet limited Championship player. The fans treatment of him was not one of our proudest moments.
Father Ted Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 He's a cvnt. Responding to fans with '££££££' on twitter, he can get to ****. Don't want to see him here again, ever.
Guest Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 He's weak and not very brave. Likes to duck out of headers and avoid challenges. That doesn't cut it at this level irrespective of his set piece prowess.
Mayofox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Blimey! Just reading about the Rory McIlroy court case, "his Senior Counsel, Paul Gallagher". Really didn't know he could multi-task.
Fox92 Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 He's a cvnt. Responding to fans with '££££££' on twitter, he can get to ****. Don't want to see him here again, ever. Wow, he really did that? In what context?
Foxes1 Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 So Gally looks good in League 1, most of our players looked good in the Championship last season but they've been shit so far this season in the Premiership.
Mike Oxlong Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 If the Premier League adopted the NFL practice where you can just bring on a kicker for an isolated play we could get him to take the odd corner or two. Other than that and the odd free kick he's at his level.
David Hankey Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Gallagher like most footballer has found his level. Yes, he scored some cracking goals for us and no doubt will continue to do so but no he wouldn't cut the mustard in the EPL.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Gallagher like most footballer has found his level. Yes, he scored some cracking goals for us and no doubt will continue to do so but no he wouldn't cut the mustard in the EPL. That pretty much sums it up. Didn't play for us at all last season yet got a big pay rise thanks to our promotion. They've been trying to shift him (and the wages) for 2+ years
LCFC FOX Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Wow, he really did that? In what context? it was something on the lines of someone asking him "why are you still at Leicester when you're not playing anymore" and he responded with a load of "£££££££" he got lots of abuse from fans after that.
J.Lisemore Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Didn't exactly put his body on the line for us, but he did produce the odd bit of magic. If this whole twitter £££££ thing happened, he's a bell*nd.
Stadt Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 In all sincerity, it's quality delivery that the team has sorely missed. We haven't sorely missed Gallagher though. His all round game is too weak. HOWEVER, I could see some mileage in bringing him on after 70 min, when we are chasing a game and needing a good set piece for big Huth to get his noggin on. I could see some mileage in that actually. Could you see some mileage in it?
promised land Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 his corner's were always pretty bad. his free kicks were just great tho. From memory weren't they usually just floaters into the box? Waggy's at the same time used to fizz in. Does he still turn his back to the keeper when taking penalties? Always bothered me this did as I thought one day he will turn around and get disorientated and fire the ball to a corner flag.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 Remember that brilliant hat trick of his a few years ago. He could certainly score some stunners. O.K. for the last 20 to 25 at this level, possibly.
iamafox Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 I still remember the time when one of the RL callers called him a 'tough tackler' after the Millwall away game last season
DB11 Posted 4 February 2015 Posted 4 February 2015 I still loved that hat trick he scored against Scunthorpe, culminating in his cheeky back header. EDIT: I just had to Google that, five years ago to the month and the game after Fryatt broke his jaw, leading to the disappointing play off with Cardiff. Wow - 5 years ago?!
