Grey Fox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The guardian are suggesting this played a part in their decision to sack Pearson (if he has been): http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/08/nigel-pearson-sacked-leicester-james-mcarthur-incident?CMP=share_btn_tw
MC Prussian Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcvxjlTyf5k Can't see any strangling in there myself. He puts his hand on McArthur's throat upper chest for a brief moment, but that's about it.

Rincewind Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Wonder if this prompted the sacking? Just a thought.
MC Prussian Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Trust you to defend him. You've been doing it all season and now look where we are. As if my defending of him in this non-event has anything to do with his (alleged) sacking.
Babylon Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Trust you to defend him. You've been doing it all season and now look where we are.You speak like us struggling is a shock?
Simmo86 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 I'm perfectly 'over it' thanks. But to brush it off as a nothing incident is ridiculous. It was weird and unnecessary and he made himself look an idiot. I backed him with the spat with the fan earlier this season but yesterday was ridiculous from him. Along with his team selection as usual Diddums, he didnt start Jamie Vardy.
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 As if my defending of him in this non-event has anything to do with his (alleged) sacking. No. I was referring to your continued one sided diatribe, spouted throughout the season about Cambiasso being world-class, Pearson learning the Prem and other such stuff. And, of course, we are rooted to the bottom with your beloved Nigel sacked. With respect, I think it shows just what nonsense yourself, and many others have posted this season.

No truer words spoken Col. Another great post from you pal. I really think you are one of the rare gems of this forum and our great club could do with input from someone as fine as yourself.

LibertyFox Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 AFCON just now almost mirror image of MacArthur incident yesterday sliding in off touch line. Completely different reaction by manager prompts commentator to say "That shows Nigel Pearson how to pick up an opposition player..."

I need to buy a frame for this today.
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I need to buy a frame for this today. No you don't. Take the Pearson sacking part out and you have probably had many people saying the same thing to you, many times. Just because the reports weren't correct, doesn't mean I'm not. As far as I'm concerned, this changes nothing. You'll still give biased views, and we're still bottom and the season is one big circus.

No, actually it's only you. And again - this is a perfect example of a desperate Col attempt at diverting the blame, avoiding all responsibiilty for your own output. Nice swerving - as usual.

No, you DO do a strange thing of making posts during match threads, essentially saying we are playing like dogs, then go on the post match thread, essentially saying we are learning and that it's all ok anyway. Which of course, it isn't. I've seen it so many times. And it isn't balanced is it? I think diatribe pretty much sums it up. Frame that if you want to

I actually do give balanced views - I slate the team when criticism is due and praise them equally. "Diatribe" - and that coming from the evasion master!
Itsthejoeker Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 You twats wanted him on the touchline! This wouldn't of happened if he sat in the stands.
