polarbear Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 - why would we need input from captain hindsight, who will never give any solid opinion without having been shown to be right first, and yet still manages to get pretty much everything wrong?
Blizzard Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Pearson Farce. Its simply is just that. How with the teams performance and watching the video footage of the incident he has retained his job I just don't know. Anyone in a normal job would be sacked for gross misconduct, even assault. That incident was no 'joke' as he claimed. The problem being there is no viable replacement for him. Better the Devil you know. I've read other posts that say he will learn from his mistakes, really??? He is a slow learner and I'm not sure he is learning!!! Same performance every week, unable to score. Strange team selections .... He's best off staying away from the touchline. The saga continues.....
Trav Le Bleu Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Rest it give a. Make a sentence using these words.

st albans fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I'm on Eurostar to Paris I just picked up the morning rag. Jeez - this is our club. Maybe it was supposed to be funny ? He has brought our club into disrepute. He owes us all an apology. Not MacArthur. Not the media. Us, the fans. I spent the whole morning defending his actions at work. Anyone who thinks Nigel will still be our manager next season is deluded He will be gone as soon as they can find a replacement It matters not what the pros or antis think. He overstepped the mark in an industry that is now far removed from his personality. That photo is beamed around the world. This is what people who know nothing about us will see.
Corky Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 He's no Cloughie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVRl9U0MSzo#t=24 I love that, Cloughie smacking the fans and then gets them to apologise

Have you seen the "incident" in its full glory? May I refer you to the various video sources online then? Judging it by a mere photograph and believing it is close to partaking in libel. You can manipulate so much with or in a simple picture. You know that, right?
st albans fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I was there. I thought it was awkward at the time as it dragged on and the video is, imo worse than my realtime observations. Of course a photo doesn't tell the story but why put his hands around his neck - he could easily have pretended to do it if he was trying to be funny It doesn't matter whether I love the bloke or I don't - I'm just saying that I believe he won't recover from this and is a dead man walking
Corky Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 The "throttling" seemed fairly jovial, both appeared to be laughing, then it turned and Pearson should've let his shirt go and get on with the game. Who knows, they might've shaken hands and sorted the differences after the game? Fair play to McArthur for not making a big thing of it, unlike Meyler with Pardew last year.
multipack Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 did macarthur say something bad or something. seemed all fine and then suddenly went bit strange
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 McArthur claimed it as well... so, we shouldn't trust the matching stories of the two people involved? No, it's easier to judge based on a photograph hand picked by the newspapers to look the absolute worst.
MrSpaM Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 did macarthur say something bad or something. seemed all fine and then suddenly went bit strange I get the impression Pearson was alright about it until McArthur told him to f*** off or something similar. He said something to Pearson just before he tried to get back on the pitch and that's when it went weird and Pearson grabbed him.
RowlattsFox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 It was clearly meant as a joke but I'm not sure Mcarthur took it that way, then Nige is annoyed because it wasn't taken as a joke. End of. Ridiculous, inappropriate and shouldn't have happen but people saying he should be sacked for misconduct? Jesus Christ. Pearson is awkward and it resembles the odd uncle who puts you in a headlock for a joke. Move on.
red5 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 So it's Linekers fault for showing it on motd, Pearsons a div
Itsthejoeker Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Why are people so fussed what other teams fans think about us?
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Why are people so fussed what other teams fans think about us? I don't care what other fans think of us. Football fans are a fickle bunch. I do care though what the media think of us. And the circus we are having this year will help No-one. Alf's post in another thread is spot on.
fuchsntf Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I don't understand why he then grabbed hold of his shirt as he tried to walk away to the point where the fourth official had to break Nigels grip on him. Utterly bizarre behaviour. He is coming across as slightly unhinged with that menacing grin of his. somebody must of let the dogs out.....!
