I feel like crying..
Steven Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Why is Pearson still tugging/holding the shirt when the player wants to leave?
Fox92 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 It's nothing. They're both laughing... And in case anybody hasn't seen it... James Mcarthur @jamesmcarthur16 Situation with me and Nigel Pearson is getting blown out of proportion http://www.sportlobster.com/post/508704/situation-with-me-and-nigel-pe.html …
Tuna Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 There was no incident. Media love to hype nonsense up. Both are smiling in the pictures.
Arkie Bennett Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 A cursing match sounds like some sort of Middle Ages non-violent duel.
Danizen Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 While the 'throttle' was innocuous, I don't know what Pearson was thinking getting involved like that. He should be keeping a professional distance from opponent's players. Really strange.
Corky Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Seemed fairly light hearted at the game, whta's the issue?
GLC Posted 7 February 2015 Author Posted 7 February 2015 I agree it's being blown out of proportion! lets hope the FA agrees
dogadug Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 While the 'throttle' was innocuous, I don't know what Pearson was thinking getting involved like that. He should be keeping a professional distance from opponent's players. Really strange. Pretty hard to keep a professional distance when a player slides straight into you...
Mark_w Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 While the 'throttle' was innocuous, I don't know what Pearson was thinking getting involved like that. He should be keeping a professional distance from opponent's players. Really strange. Really? He slid into him, kind of difficult to keep his distance. But then I'd defend him if he'd taken out a scythe and hacked his legs off.
Deucalion Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I had a fairly good view at the time and it seemed all good natured.
Donut Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 All the time during the incident, McArthur is trying to get up and get on with the game, even after having his throat grabbed, he pats Pearson. Pearson on the other hand pins him to the floor, and grabs his shirt and wont let him go. What an idiot.
stingray Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 ask McArthur if he though it was funny. psycho comes to mind. pearson needs a holiday
Larry_LCFC Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I don't understand why he then grabbed hold of his shirt as he tried to walk away to the point where the fourth official had to break Nigels grip on him. Utterly bizarre behaviour. He is coming across as slightly unhinged with that menacing grin of his.

He slid into him, kind of difficult to keep his distance. But then I'd defend him if he'd taken out a scythe and hacked his legs off. What I mean by professional distance is not to get all jokey and instigate a situation that the media could manipulate into an FA charge. He should have got up and got on with his job.
st albans fox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 It was ok to call if light hearted but then the shirt tugging went on too long. We wanted to restart with a throw. Pearson held the game up. I thought the length of the shirt tugging was odd. (And a bit awkward)
Mark_w Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 What I mean by professional distance is not to get all jokey and instigate a situation that the media could manipulate into an FA charge. He should have got up and got on with his job. Does it really matter? The FA have more important things to do than charge Nigel Pearson for that, although I realise that won't stop them.
Strokes Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Don't enter Nigel's technical area, it's simple.
MPH Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Wonder if Stringer will be all over this so called 'incident'
Donut Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Don't enter Nigel's technical area, it's simple. How about something even more simple: Your a manager, be a bit more professional than grab an opposition players throat and then his shirt. In other words, stop acting like a ****.
Zapp Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 i reckon pardew would have got mullered if it was him, with his past touchline antics
