Devonfox1884 Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I find Ben Hamer a little annoying in interviews for some reason... Couldn't even tell you why!!
Unabomber Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I can't stand Mahrez, yet adore Paul Konchesky.
Webbo Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I always loved Tiatto, aggressive little bastard, always got stuck in.
Guest Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I find Ben Hamer a little annoying in interviews for some reason... Couldn't even tell you why!! Anti Beard? I always loved Tiatto, aggressive little bastard, always got stuck in. Think most fans liked him though didnt they?
Guest WarehamFox Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Ian Hume.... Effort but shite. Liked Nick Platnuer
Sampson Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I always thought Bob Hazell was a pretty poor defender just remembered because he was a hardman and showed passion. Steve Guppy was ok for what he was, but I think he is remembered more fondly than his sporadic crossing ability showed. On the flip side, I thought Arnar Gunnlaugsson wasn't too bad and didn't deserve the slating he got.
Paulmot Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 dennis wise,elvis hammond,junior lewis,alan maybury,sean st ledger, ade akinbiyi,kevin pressman,dj gold tooth, to name just a few,
Phube Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I always LOVED Steve Guppy... but he came in for an unreasonable amount of stick from the people who used to sit near me (SK3). If only we had his crossing and set set piece ability now...
Rialto 290352 Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Mark de Vries in a time when there was no money at the club he was worth what he cost and was unfairly criticised by many.
SpacedX Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I never minded Tommy English but he was signed from Cov so was universally disliked - particularly since he struggled to find the form that had made him such a favourite at Highfield Road. In fact he was so manifestly unpopular, someone started a rumour that he had a smack problem. I always loathed Dennis Wise.
bovril Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Steve Howard. I think he's one of the worst players to put on the royal blue. Fans seemed to love him. though. I never really liked Lloyd Dyer either, extremely limited footballer. I thought Gelson Fernandes was class, shame he never got much of a chance to show it. I also never understood the dislike of Jermaine Beckford.
Eddy Kellys Heroes Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Norman Leet was world class, it's just that nobody on the planet realised it but me?!

Dan Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I always really liked Iain Hume. Never saw the fuss with Max Gradel in the end. Even got him on my shirt before he'd kicked a ball for us and as usual it backfired he was so average
Claridge Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I never minded Tommy English but he was signed from Cov so was universally disliked - particularly since he struggled to find the form that had made him such a favourite at Highfield Road. Never got over it
Soar Fox Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 I liked Richard Stearman as a player until he slept with by ex girlfriend. Ginger ****
Corky Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Paul Gallagher, was lightweight and hid a lot but scored some absolute pearlers and a reliable penalty taker. Didn't deserve to be booed when brought on as a sub.
bovril Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuume! Was crap. Frank Sinclair comes in for a lot of stick, maybe for his own goals. But he was fantastic in defense for us. I always LOVED Steve Guppy... but he came in for an unreasonable amount of stick from the people who used to sit near me (SK3). If only we had his crossing and set set piece ability now... You must have been sitting near me. There was a guy who always used to shout "get stuck in Guppy you gutless bastard!" (just after he whipped in a perfect cross onto Cottee's head.
