Players you liked but most LCFC fans disliked and Vice Versa

The worst player ever.Swapped for a fantastic player,Jim Melrose. Never got over it :ill:

He wasn't actually a bad player but 100% agree, the Melrose swap was a travesty and was probably the main reason he was so loathed. Tom cracked under the pressure and never performed.

Agree on Hume. Thought he was crap myself too but was well loved by the faithful.

Vardy possibly in same boat - think last yr will be seen as a freak.

Liked Gareth Williams. Understand he didn't get stuck in but his passing ability was second to none. I don't think I ever saw him misplace a pass.

Stef Oakes. He was such a cultured player when he came through. I'm not sure what happened really, I thought he'd be with us for years.

Yes might be being unfair on the useless Cov t**t because i still feel the pain now.

Krameric reminds me a lot of Melrose

I always thought Jon Hayes looked a tidy player when watching him. He was a Levein signing? He ended up at Aberdeen via Inverness and a host of loan clubs, but he always looked technically good to me and always delivered with quality.

Barely played for us.

Another girl I know was in a taxi with him (she had told him to drop her off at her house) they got to Stearman's he says right get out then, she's like what no I wanna go home. Anyway after ages of arguing he says "ok **** off then" and chucks a load of coins in the taxi.

Disliked both Wise and Dublin both charlatans all mouth and gestures no substance when appearing for us.

Didn't dislike anyone else but there were plenty in fact to many players I never rated.

I always thought Bob Hazell was a pretty poor defender just remembered because he was a hardman and showed passion.

Steve Guppy was ok for what he was, but I think he is remembered more fondly than his sporadic crossing ability showed.

On the flip side, I thought Arnar Gunnlaugsson wasn't too bad and didn't deserve the slating he got.

Sporadic? Second only to Beckham according to Opta at the time

In fact IIRC the whole midfield of Izzet, Lenton, Savage and Guppy was 2nd only to Utd's Beckham, Giggs, Scholes and I think Keane

Kermogant is a good shout, I think it's pretty disgusting when fans turn on a player for missing a penalty and he was good in the air.

Fryatt, seems to get a lot of stick for some reason. I maintain Nugent is no better than Fryatt (although Fryatt has been hampered by injuries).

Waghorn, think he's better than being on the bench for bottom of the championship. Needs to find a team that will let him start every match.

De Vries, got shut out after Levein left despite being top scorer at the time, decent target man for the level we were at.

Dyer, guess he's popular with many but he was consistently underrated in favour of rubbish.

King, think he could yet be a key player, only player under Nigel who has gone backwards unfortunately.

Wood, not sure why he hasn't had more opportunity this season.

I think Matt Mills is a decent defender but had an attitude problem.

Liked Nugent, Gallagher who get short change on here

Dislike Schmeichel, actually don't dislike just don't rate... Don't really dislike anyone aside from Dennis Wise.

If we can talk managers I'll say Sven always hated him, liked by many... And Holloway (not to do with our worst ever achievement) Soccer AM & other fans love him, I think he's an idiot, at best!
