0-0 Hull - Down?

Down. Need to beat those around you in our position. It wasn't the result today, it was the performance. We played with no tempo or drive, we looked like a team that knows it is relegated.

We're not down yet.

But today was a pretty poor showing against a tame and mostly harmless Hull side.

Hardly any attacking intent and when we tried moving forward we gave the ball away too often again.

And even against ten men, we couldn't make a meal of it and had to be glad not to lose...

Must do better.

Pearson just isn't good enough at this level, keep him because he's clearly capable in the championship.

I backed Hull before the match in the hope it'd get us the win we so desperately need!

Missed out on a massive chance to catch up on some of the teams above us.

I know there's no one better out there or anyone who stands out but I think now Pearson needs to go.

Aston Villa should have stuck with Lambert. Proven record in the Championship, would have got them straight back up.

Oh.............

they should just put our game on the football league show tonight as a punishment for it being so bad

Been saying were down for about six weeks but have held a fraction of hope due to Burnley, QPR and villa being crap as well. Villa turning a corner is the final nail in the coffin. In hindsight we should have sacked the manager in December. The fact that our manager literally hasn't got a clue what his best team or formation is after years in charge is laughable.

I've just said in another thread if we play like that next season (In the Championship) we'll struggle.

Yep the chance has gone as far as I'm concerned. Of course it's not fully over until it's mathematically impossible but it would take more than a miracle to save us now.
