lgfualol Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We were down when Konchesky started the season as our left back
DennisNedry Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We were down before the season started. I believe with a better manager we could and would have stayed up.
Spicer Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Down. Need to beat those around you in our position. It wasn't the result today, it was the performance. We played with no tempo or drive, we looked like a team that knows it is relegated.
MC Prussian Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We're not down yet. But today was a pretty poor showing against a tame and mostly harmless Hull side. Hardly any attacking intent and when we tried moving forward we gave the ball away too often again. And even against ten men, we couldn't make a meal of it and had to be glad not to lose... Must do better.
Stadt Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Pearson just isn't good enough at this level, keep him because he's clearly capable in the championship.
lee7 Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 I backed Hull before the match in the hope it'd get us the win we so desperately need! Missed out on a massive chance to catch up on some of the teams above us. I know there's no one better out there or anyone who stands out but I think now Pearson needs to go.
the messenger Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Pulis not good enough? Sherwood not good enough? Pearson not good enough? Absolutely
the messenger Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 I refuse to accept we're down............not yet
blueharmie Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 What the **** have I just watched. Oh yes... Championship football. Clueless wankers.
adam Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 been down for months. If only the owners had some bollocks.
Donut Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Aston Villa should have stuck with Lambert. Proven record in the Championship, would have got them straight back up. Oh.............
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Can't wait for Bristol, Rotherham, PNE and Brum away
ScouseFox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 they should just put our game on the football league show tonight as a punishment for it being so bad
Merging Cultures Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Yep, it's over now. If we couldn't beat 10 man Hull at home, we won't win again this season. (Please prove me wrong)
MooseBreath Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Been saying were down for about six weeks but have held a fraction of hope due to Burnley, QPR and villa being crap as well. Villa turning a corner is the final nail in the coffin. In hindsight we should have sacked the manager in December. The fact that our manager literally hasn't got a clue what his best team or formation is after years in charge is laughable.
Matt Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 they should just put our game on the football league show tonight as a punishment for it being so bad I've just said in another thread if we play like that next season (In the Championship) we'll struggle.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Pearson has relegated us, as was always going to be the case. He's a walking disaster, and that's being kind to him.
Monk Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Yep the chance has gone as far as I'm concerned. Of course it's not fully over until it's mathematically impossible but it would take more than a miracle to save us now.
