Legend_in_blue Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 We'll get more than 8 points. I reckon 12 is doable.
Guest Bilo Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Chelsea fan today. Would love them to get a proper drubbing Yep, really nause up their goal difference as happened to Sunderland yesterday.
Guest Col city fan Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Thinks it will be us or QPR.. Winner takes all, last game of the season!!!! I honestly think you could be right. Imagine that! How nervous would we all be.....
foxfanazer Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 I honestly think you could be right. Imagine that! How nervous would we all be..... I have to admit I shed a little tear when Vardy scored yesterday so god knows what I'd be like in that scenario
foxes_rule1978 Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 From what I see now we seriously have a realistic chance for the first time in a while of survival...
Nalis Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 West Brom are definitely in this relegation Scrap would say that Aston Villa have probably done enough now to stay up. I agree with this having seen West Brom's run in. Villa will be safe with a game to spare which isnt ideal as they play Burnley at home on the last game of the season, when they'll effectively be on the beach.

theessexfox Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 QPR game is right during my exams... I don't want Leicester to shape how my exams go!
ScouseFox Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 QPR game is right during my exams... I don't want Leicester to shape how my exams go! i had an exam the day after both cardiff in the play offs and watford in the play offs. smashed 'em both through tear filled eyes.
weller54 Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 John O Sheas performance yesterday was the worse centre half performance I've EVER seen!!... What a carthorse!!!
Max Power Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Sunderland have been absolutely rinsed by anyone with pace (Agbonlahor, Bolasie), Vardy will do damage when we go down there
AKCJ Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 15 West Brom -24 36 16 Leicester 38 -17 34 17 Hull -20 32 18 QPR -27 32 19 Sunderland -32 31 20 Burnley -29 30 That's how I see it finishing We'll go into the last game knowing that we need to win.
lavrentis Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Just watching MOTD, never seen Nuge celebrate like that after someone elses goal
ScouseFox Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 We're now 10/11 to go down, from 1/7 8 days ago. We got this.
bovril Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Tempted to put 200 quid on us going down to cushion the blow if it happens, but I think it'll anger the football Gods. And it would be like blood money.
bluesbrothers Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 It would no doubt be the greatest escape in PL history if we do pull it off. To be cut adrift for so long would even eclipse West Ham's in 06/07, who had a point on us for much of the season, and West Brom's, who despite escaping by the skin of their teeth on the last day in 04/05 were never more than 4 points adrift. I doubt even those who had written us off before the past two games can do so now. Our run-in puts it well back in our hands. As for our rivals? There are a couple of massive games left. Any sort of result against Burnley, Sunderland and QPR is a must. We could theoretically lose the rest and stay up if we beat those teams and their other results are poor. Burnley have the kindest run-in of our rivals, but do face Hull in a vital clash, as well as against Villa, who will need Benteke to keep finding the net to avoid being dragged back into it. I reckon they could get the results there, but they need to start finding the net to stand any chance - they're in the same position we found ourselves in mid-season of losing by fine margins, dour draws or very occasionally tight wins. Thank god we've found our scoring boots is all I'll say! Hull have a torrid run-in, bar that game against the Clarets. They're going to have to pull out some surprise points against three big-hitters and an in-form Palace to stand any chance. I can't see them doing it, although results against an increasingly toothless Tottenham and that Burnley game could just do it for them. QPR are the unpredictable ones - a team of individuals with enough flair, but shite as a unit. When they turn it on, they're great (hence WBA last week), but do they have the mentality for the massive battles ahead? I think their games against West Ham and a massively-overrated Newcastle could be pivotal. While I've never liked them and can taste vomit when I say it, I reckon they might just scrape to safety - though again, we will have a lot to say about that on the last day. If we've got anything to play for, we will win that game, because I trust our squad to work as a unit far more than them. West Brom are my outside bet to go down. Their final six reads as Palace, Liverpool, Man Utd, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal. With the exception of Newcastle, I can't see them getting a single point from those remaining fixtures, and so may end up on 34. It will be entirely down to how those below them fare, but if we can pull off three more wins and a draw, I believe we will finish above them. If others around us do it too, they could manage an infamous reverse of their great escape in 04/05. Villa are improving, but their over-reliance on Benteke will have to keep producing fruit. As it stands, they're an outsider for relegation, but one more win should keep them up. Burnley at home on the last day will be very spicy if that's still the case then. Finally, hapless Sunderland, who had a false dawn last week but have proven to be utterly hapless otherwise. Stoke, S'Hampton, Arsenal and Chelsea are all incredibly tough fixtures, though their success in the first two will depend massively on whether the Potters and the Saints turn up - both have a terrible habit of being brilliant one week and useless the next. Games against Everton and ourselves represent their two best prospects, but they will surely be quaking in their boots at the prospect of facing us after our showing over the past two rounds. So, what will happen is a mystery, but my god it's going to be an exciting one. Who will go down? It's hard to say. This is by no means what I expect will really happen, but based on fixtures and their winnability, i'd say that the following might go down. 18th - West Brom19th - Sunderland20th - Hull Expect at least one of those games teams are expected to lose to throw up a suprise result, especially for teams facing Tottenham and Liverpool, both of whom are hardly on fire at the moment. I stand by that our games against Burnley, QPR and Sunderland are by far the three most important - we must not lose these games regardless of whether that means winning or scraping a draw. Do that, and we might just survive. UTF
Stevosevic Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 I've betted against us the last two weeks....I'll be doing so for the rest of the season
weller54 Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 I think Hull and Sunderland will go (due to their current form and run ins)...... So it's one from us, QPR and Burnley....
Guest Bilo Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 If QPR, Burnley and us stay up I'll eat my own face. At least one of us will go down.
CosbehFox Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 I have to admit I shed a little tear when Vardy scored yesterday so god knows what I'd be like in that scenario I was at that point of collapse on 70 minutes. Could feel myself getting emotional, so just thought **** it and kept singing. Come May, I'll have no hair, no nails and require lots of new pants.
TJB-fox Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Until next weeks game (where a win for me is vital,) Im still under the belief we're going down. We still need a minor miracle. I think 35 points is the key, and 3 wins and a draw would get us there. Can we get 3 wins? Im not so sure, with some potentially dangerous fixtures coming up

TJB-fox Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Newcastle (Home),Sunderland (away) and Qpr (home) look extremely winnable to me??? They definitely are, but the way this season has gone Im not taking anything for granted! You can bet your bottom dollar that an absolutely awful Newcastle side will pick up their only win in the last remaining fixtures against us. Thats how it usually works out for us, teams never seem to play shit against us. Sunderland is dangerous because if we get the first, I think their heads will drop and we'll go on to win. If they score first they'll win. Hopefully we're out of sight by QPR game. Yes we have won back-to-back games, but people are forgetting how difficult it is to win in this league. We need around 3 more wins, and we've only won 6 all year. We've also scored late late winners in the last 2 wins, which won't happen every week.
