hackneyfox Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 Agree with this. But at the same time could you not say that a poor refereeing display at Liverpool could be just as important? Or the amount of games we should of won but didn't. If those penalties hadn't been given at Liverpool, we would have 3 more points, maybe more. The Hull game was a 6 pointer, the Liverpool game wasn't.
Ollie93 Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 The Hull game was a 6 pointer, the Liverpool game wasn't. Winning either would of got us 3 points better off than we are now.
Ollie93 Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 I'm an optimist but I cant believe how much people are underestimating WBA... also, using the logic that a run will build confidence then surely QPR are the danger team? Agree with this, they played well at West Brom, and well at Villa. It will no way near be a guaranteed 3 points on the last day.
AndWhat? Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 Winning either would of got us 3 points better off than we are now. 2 points
Monsell1976 Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 Just wondering, where has this new found belief come from? Posters who geniuenly believed we could stay up were like rocking horse shit before Saturday, one win which unfortuantley due to other results has only made us one point closer to safety and the great escape is on? geniuenly confused by massive sway in opinions. Know what you mean, think we have far, far to much to do
NZ_Foxile Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 According to the Daily Fail's predictions, we won't win another match this season!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3031839/Hull-face-tough-run-Leicester-FIVE-home-games-Aston-Villa-face-Burnley-day-three-teams-relegated-Premier-League.html
ealingfox Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 Didn't realise Chelsea was so far from the end of the season. They won't have won the league by then.

What a joke to say that Burnley have the best run in! We clearly have the best run in.

Nobody believes anything they say. I wouldn't take stuff they print too serious.

We've been shite all season
justfoxes Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 Still got that feeling it's going to go to the last game of the season and will end up being decided on goal difference, and I'm hoping we have the better goal difference than the other strugglers my bottom 3 BURNLEY HULL QPR
Benguin Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 So basically the Daily shit rag that is only purchased by idiots, racists and arseholes has employed an analyst who has clearly only looked at the table and the fixtures and possibly watched match of the day once or twice to write this shit report that thinks Hull win draw against Liverpool; 25% of our remaining points will come from SOUTHAMPTON. While i'm not confident we'll stay up I'm almost certain that the writer of this report has got more chance of Rachel Riley flossing his arsehole hair than the results panning out like that.

AKCJ Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 WBA - D Swansea - W Burnley - D Chelsea - L Southampton - L Newcastle - W Sunderland - D QPR - W 12 more points, finishing on 34. Last day we'll need to win and results to go our way I think. Looking at the fixtures, I fancy us in that scenario.
Benguin Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 WBA - W Swansea - W Burnley - W Chelsea - L Newcastle - W Southampton - D Sunderland - D QPR - W 39 points. 15th place.
weller54 Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 WBA - W Swansea - W Burnley - W Chelsea - L Newcastle - W Southampton - D Sunderland - D QPR - W 39 points. 15th place. Why the pessimism... L to Chelsea!!!!???
Benguin Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 Why the pessimism... L to Chelsea!!!!??? L is a common abbreviation for "Laughable to think it will be anything other than a 5-0 win"

theessexfox Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 Why anyone would value the prediction of any paper of pundit is beyond me.
kingcarr21 Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 Merson has always backed us all season. He backed us to draw at Old Trafford. I think he does it to be different from the norm as every other pundit has us down for relegation 100% so if we stay up he can say i told you so. Still nice to see someone believe we can do it.
chapero82 Posted 10 April 2015 Posted 10 April 2015 I'm sorry to burst anybody's bubble but we are going to need more than 34 points, last season you needed 36 points to stay and at this stage last season teams had less ponts in the relegation spots than this this years
