cc_star Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 What's your superstitions/superstitious thoughts before & during games? One of mine is if I see a dead fox, we'll end up getting beat. This probably happened once, but it's stuck with me If we lose on saturday, it will be nothing to do with our player's performance, Pearson or the officials, it will be because I saw about 6 dead foxes on the Essex roads yesterday.
Beliall Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 i always wear the same leicester shirt i wore for the last game if we won. if we lose that game i wear a different shirt next game, if we are losing at half time i put on a different one
Fox92 Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 Always put my football socks on as soon as I get up and they stay on until after the game and I'm home.
lgfualol Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 I never bet/super6 on us to win, only to draw/lose because I dont want to jinx a win. Hasn't really made a difference this season as we have lost most of the time.. I have done 2-2 for the last two games so maybe that's it.
benpicko Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 Well from now on I have to see a picture of Rachel Riley before the match
Benguin Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 I watch countdown, have a tug, and then look up pictures of Rachels partner and pray that he breaks his leg.
Guest Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 A quick shag with Rachel Riley - more for her sake tbh.
Danno Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 I don't go to the spar shop near the ground every time i go there we get beat
Bayfox Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 Not really got any but if we need to stay up on the last day. I will be going to the same bar that was open early before donny and having a pint. Even if it was a gay bar.
tylesta Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 Have a tug over Rach RileyI do that to but with marigolds on
Guest Bilo Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 Tend to get rat-arsed. All joking aside, we never seem to win when I'm sober at matches!
StanSP Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 This season, worn an away shirt to home games (black or red shirt). We've not lost (hope I've not jinxed it for tomorrow!!).
Unabomber Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 I like to look me best and go to the pub and have a few beers.
steveherbe Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 Dead foxes only count on matchday. If we see one heading up the A34, we both try to ignore it. And a live fox always means a win.
Stadt Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 Saw a fox run across the road three times once, then it got clipped by a car, we won 3-1. Not a true story.
4ever and ever Posted 16 April 2015 Posted 16 April 2015 Met Rachel Riley today at the NEC. Even better in person. She was being used by the car manufacturer dacia doing maths problems. She was also wearing a FOX jumper. So fit. She should be everyone's pre match superstition
tom27111 Posted 17 April 2015 Posted 17 April 2015 When I was a lot younger, my Mum used to drive me and my Dad from Oadby, down to the Cattle Market on matchdays. Every time we saw Alan Woollett walking his dog down Welford Road, or John Sammels giving someone a driving lesson, we'd win. Nowadays, it's lucky blue pants. Only started last season. Said pants now have a massive hole in the crotch and one of my balls hangs out. But last week, I put them on at half time and look what happened. Coincidence? I don't think so.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 17 April 2015 Posted 17 April 2015 Bought my dad a city shirt few years ago with '1 Kenaldo' on the back (kenaldo being the nickname the lads he used to manage called him- tongue in cheek as he wasnt the best footballer) Since he passed mum has started going through his clothes and I got it off her two weeks ago. I wore the shirt for West Ham and West Brom. I'll be wearing it tomorrow too.

Guest Col city fan Posted 17 April 2015 Posted 17 April 2015 I like to look me best and go to the pub and have a few beers. Nice t shirt and a splash of Blue Stratos and I bet you're as lovely as Harry Styles buddy.
Livid Posted 17 April 2015 Posted 17 April 2015 Went into town before the West Ham game and due to the drizzle bought new baseball cap. Will be wearing it again tomorrow.
