VLC86 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 If Nuge isn't fit don't risk him. If we play a 3 up top stick young Harry on the bench. Stinkalicious was training with the first team the other day.
Spudulike Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Pressure's on Burnley. Must ensure our nervousness doesn't get through to the players. #Positive
The Year Of The Fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Pressure's on Burnley. Must ensure our nervousness doesn't get through to the players. #Positive True that.
AKCJ Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 We should win this but previous games have made it a must not lose rather than a must win.
Mad Dog Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Jesus Christ I'm nervy. Come on lads. Let's do this.
lgfualol Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Had a dream JV scored then they got an equaliser from a corner *eyeroll*
Chairman of the Bored Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Renewed my ST for a 49th season this week. If anyone thinks the 'Leicester City habit' eases down the years I have some advice for you: it doesn't. I'm supposed to be working on stuff today but the 100% 3pm focus is preventing that from happening. Massive, massive game. Good luck boys! And for those City fans travelling, makes some f****** noise!
shailen Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Keep it simple. Play the same way and we should win. Having said that Burnley will be up for this, and they will fight as much as we do, so we need to make our quality count.
billyn88 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Had a dream JV scored then they got an equaliser from a corner *eyeroll* I thought I was a pessimist until I read your posts! Do you permanently have that Seymour Skinner look on your face?
Gerard Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Biggest game of the season. Make or break for the City's season. You're wrong unless the biggest game of the season is always the next one. Hull was bigger so was West Ham. We could almost be safe if we win today and all our rivals lose. If we lose today we're still nowhere near relegated.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Carry on as per last 3 games and just go for it Attack attack attack Come on you Foxes
ScouseFox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 draw would be fine, win would be amazing, genuinely don't think a defeat would be the end of the world. still reckon 2 wins, 2 draws or just 3 wins keeps us up. and we don't deserve to stay up if we can't beat newcastle and qpr at home.
lgfualol Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I thought I was a pessimist until I read your posts! Do you permanently have that Seymour Skinner look on your face? Hey, I cant control my dreams. And yes.
Fox92 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Really nervous... Just can't afford to lose. A draw would be fine. Sunderland are at Stoke and Hull are at Palace - should be two home wins there and if so a point would take us to 16th/29 points with a poor Newcastle at home next week.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I'll take a point today, bigger games to come in the form of Sunderland and QPR.

We could almost be safe if we win today and all our rivals lose. If we lose today we're still nowhere near relegated. Do you have to disagree and quote my post everytime I post. This is clearly the biggest game of the season. A loss and we are favoured to be relegated, a win and we are favoured but far from sure of staying up. If you think we can lose today and still survive you are simply talking about the statistical chance - if you are then this is still the biggest game of the season because it's the only one that matters - the others are either passed or yet to come. For those saying a draw is a good result I think you're also too optimistic. A draw is good for every team in the battle except us and Burnley. A draw highly favours a realgation for Burnley and still favours relegation for us. Until the points arein the bag don't count on them.
st albans fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Basically it's about staying ahead of 3 other sides. We are 2 points ahead of burnley so the smart approach is to make today a no lose fixture. However, the way we've achieved over the past three games means we will probably go for it. pointless scrapping for 90 mins and then letting in a last minute winner. (No pun intended)

If we still need 9pts 3 is a must today. There are not many games left. Burnley are bottom of the league and nor scoring - do you think that Arsenal would be happy with a point at Burnley? They are a championship team and need to be beaten by prem strandard teams - as they have been most of the season. Newcastle have proven - over the season - to be a better team than Burnley and Southampton and Chelsea have proven to be better teams than us. I think we need a win today AND against Newcastle AND against QPR. A draw against burnley and one of the other 3 weak teams we play together with wins over the two other weak teams is cutting it too fine. Let's knock Burnley out of the chase and leave ourselves with just 2 other teams to fight with to avoid the final relegation spot. Top of the bottom 3 is not enough.
Guest Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I respect your points of view but I don't entirely agree with them. I even corrected your typos Thanks, I nearly always agree with your views. As you say we have to finish above 3 teams being above Burnley and QPR is not enough.

Although that's entirely true, I don't think I said that! A loss is not terminal today imo, but I do agree that a win is perhaps more important than those that would settle for a draw might think - in so many respects. But, I can understand opposition to that.

ian_marshall Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 My heart says today is the day when we finally see our extra investment in the playing squad pay off and we'll have too much quality for them. My head says I can't remember the last time we won four games on the bounce in the Premier League, and that 4 consecutive wins in this league is a stretch for even the very best clubs let alone one battling for survival.
