They do worship Zidane for his 4 years there and the world cup. Hence any good young player gets compared to him. They have always sold their best players. The right offer came along they would sell. He won't be on a big wage at Bordeaux either. I wasn't saying you were making it up, just that I hadn't heard it or read it. I found it interesting and I'll ask around (I live in the Gironde). Perhaps they were thinking they'd sell him because as you say they're a bit like Leicester - a selling club - but now there is proof that the club could be in the money - a bit like Leicester - meaning that they no longer have to sell.

sylofox Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Huth not in Hughes' plans next season , he wants a ball playing CB so only way he'll play is displacing shawcross, which isnt going to happen. 3-5 mill most probably and he'll be a Leicester player I just love our fans knowing what another manager is thinking. Shame nige is not a fan as well he could read the minds then out fox em. We could be the most successful club ever win everything every season.

This follows on from Pochettino saying he wants to use more home grown British players yesterday.

He is a good player and Bx themselves have put together a tidy team if a little lacking in certain areas, but as I said they are reportedly on the brink of getting a new very rich Indian Owner so I can't see them selling him and they could even get Gourcuff back. I watch them reasonably regularly and always think of them as a team similar in stature to Leicester (though in an easier league - except for the top few). The old ground was but to bed last week, the new and impressive ground is now open. Looking forward to watching a couple of European Finals games there - saw Matt Elliot there in '98. Tuna Posted 16 May 2015 Posted 16 May 2015 We need 3 or 4 special players, we already have about 16 premiership quality players assuming we keep Huth: Kasper, Schwarzer, De Laet, Wasyl, Wes, Huth, Schlupp, Albrighton, Drinky, Esteban, Kingy, Mahrez, Vardy, Ulloa, Kramaric. Nugent and Moore in reserve. Left sided player, natrual number 10 attacking midfielder, a midfield replacement for James, 1 more striker plus Huth permanent, and another centre half maybe with Wasyl backup Centre Half with Moore. We need players who take us to the next level, better than we have not squad players who are worse than what we have IE Simpson. Hamer, Simpson, Hammond, Konch, GTF, Wood, Knocky can go, no room anymore for sentiment. Its perhaps not the done thing to pickup players from relegated teams but how about Matty Phillips and Charlie Austin?
