eddylcfc Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Andres Guardado - LWB (Valencia - currently on loan at PSV) Huth Michah Richards Jordy Classie - CDM (Feyenoord) Valentin Stocker - LM (Hertha Berlin) Mitrovic - ST (Anderlecht) All these are ambitious but I believe we have to go for quality rather than quantity.
white_y Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Should Norwich not go up would Jerome or Redmond be worth looking at? even Martin Olson? Likewise with Middlesborough and any of their players such as Adohmah?
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Huth CB to replace Upson RB to replace Simpson LB to replace Konchesky CM Winger to replace Knockaert Striker to replace Wood I would have said to release Hammond but with James being out I'd offer him one more year. Would offer extensions to Wasyl & Cambiasso. Loan out Hamer, Moore and Lawrence. Release Bakayoko and GTF.
Simo86 Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Should Norwich not go up would Jerome or Redmond be worth looking at? even Martin Olson? Likewise with Middlesborough and any of their players such as Adohmah? Jerome would probably be 5th choice if we signed him
kingfox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Why do we need a RB? If we continue with three at the back, then De Laet & Albrighton are good enough to battle it out for the RWB spot. LWB is a must though even if Konchesky somehow stays, think Pearson will stick with Schlupp as first choice though, will probably look at a free transfer in the form of Jansen or Garbutt.

For the games in which we would need to go in with a back four. We'd get pissed on in certain games with 3 at the back.
ronnup Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Cleverly has been class for Villa since loaning him and we could potetially beat them to the signing. Nige likes him and it's a position we need to strengthen.
ChannawayLCFC Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Apparently Leicester may be intrested in yussuf poulsen would be great signing in my opinion
4everfox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I've just searched Wikipedia for Marcell Jansen not the most reliable site I know. However it says Jansen is 6 ft 3 & he's scored 14 goals in 140 games that's not a bad record for a left back!! For anyone thAt knows how does he score most of his goals? Is it through aerial presence which would already add to our tall options from set pieces? I know this player, think left sided Richie De Laet but massively improved, you don't get 50 odd caps for Germany if you aren't a pretty special player. He's surprisingly fast and can cross better than Albrighton. I'd imagine his goals come from cutting inside and shooting more then they would aerially.
4everfox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Im not bragging but I raided Cagliary on FM when I survived first season and went on to become a more prestigious manager than Sir Alex Ferguson so I know what I'm talking about. Lorenzo Crisetig Victor Ibarbo Albin Ekdal Nicholas Murru Fabio Deprala Boom Goodnight Irene. Crisetig - Defensive midfield, Inter Milan, quality. Ibarbo - Winger, AS Roma, quality. Ekdal - Attacking midfielder? Not sure on club, decent. Murru - Never heard of him. Deprala - Left back, not sure on club, crap West Ham cast off.

Definitely the sort that we need to go for in the summer, a real life version of course.

Foxboy Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Cambiasso and Huth CB - Ruben Vezo - Young Valencia player, only 9 appearances but at 21 has a lot of potential LB - Luke Garbutt or Ben Davies - Both young and have prem experience, although only a little CM - Mateo Kovacic, Tom Huddlestone and/or Clement Grenier - All young/approaching their prime with great potential I believe we have a solid keeper in Kasper and strikers that can score. With some improvements in other areas I believe we can become a solid perm outfit.
4everfox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Hmmmmmmmmmmm I bet he knows Esteban well, highly regarded in Italy so unlikely we will sign him unless its a loan.
Sindidragon Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 We could do with a holding centre midfielder to support Cambiasso even though we have King and Drinkwater. But rememember James is out.
dbtcity Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 We need a player like jedinak from palace, I've noticed he hasn't been getting a game recently maybe slap a cheeky bid in for him, or even try and get loftus-cheek in on loan
Torten Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Yacob from West Brom is just brilliant Wouldn't even mind splashing out a bit for him
dbtcity Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Yacob from West Brom is just brilliant Wouldn't even mind splashing out a bit for him Wouldn't have to splash out anything other than wages, his contract is up in a few weeks
Bryn Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Could be a real coop if we sign him like. I'd be eggstatic, Pearson can hatch a deal like this from nowhere.

Ric Flair Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 If Norwich don't come up we could do a lot worse than Bradley Johnson
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Wouldn't be surprised if we made another approach for David McGoldrick
