AKCJ Posted 24 May 2015 Posted 24 May 2015 Very much so. Plays the same role that Schlupp plays for us and would add good competition to the left back/left wing area that we're currently lacking.

I'd love to see another outlandish free transfer like Cambiasso join the club, but unless it's Xavi (who is going to Qatar) or Pirlo (dream on) there's not really anyone else in Europe that really strikes me as someone I'd like to see. Nigel De Jong, Yoan Gourcuff and Alexander Pato are all on free transfers this year, but none of them strike me as a classy model pro that EC19 is. To be honest if Cambiasso and Huth signed for another year and we didn't sign anyone else, I'd still be ecstatic!

theessexfox Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 I like the look of Robbie Brady. Also I was impressed with Hangeland when Palace beat us, if Huth doesn't join. Not sure what Palace fans make of him though, kept out of the side by Dann and Delaney..
MC Prussian Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 He's also been a crucial component in keeping up a generally poor Sunderland side for two seasons running. The terrible run they had, when still under their previous manager, coincided with Cattermole not being in the side due to injury. He makes a difference to them. Sunderland got more losses with Cattermole in the side than wins with him as part of the matchday squad this season.
