cc_star Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Huth been out nearly all season too. Big big worry for us Vardy, Ulloa and Cambiasso ran themselves into the ground, be surprised if they can repeat that on Saturday against a fresh Newcastle side with their best players returning from injury John Carver was there as was Chris Ramsey and Los Ferdinand. They'll no doubt be planning to double up on Konchesky if Schlupp is still out. Very worrying times, very!

lcfcsnow Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 If we have to go long without Huth and Schlupp then we've had it as it's crucial Konchesky doesn't play and Morgan falls to pieces without someone of quality holding his hand.
NZ_Foxile Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 Huth and King doubts for Saturday: http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/Pearson-confirms-King-Huth-injury-doubts/story-26412779-detail/story.html
Guest kristianity77 Posted 29 April 2015 Posted 29 April 2015 The King injury we can probably get by with. But Huth will be a massive miss.
Lambert09 Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 I think I'd rather see knocky as wingback then konchesky at least he'd offer something going forward
m4DD0gg Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Huth missing will be like returning to the dark defensive days of mid season. Gutted.
Thracian Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Losing Huth and King are major blows. Huth is the cement of our defence and King - quite apart from his own strategic and often underestimated value - brings the best out of Cambiasso. We were like a ship without a rudder in their absence last night - a complete mess. What Pearson said at half-time I've no idea but the defending for their equaliser was worse than schoolboy stuff. Thereafter we continually left Chelsea players with time and space on the edge of the box yet did nothing about it. We also failed to deal with their key players and whileI accept that Vardy was completely knackered (what a contribution he makes!) bringing on Mayrez was a disaster...one of the last options you need in the trenches. We will have to do far better than this to survive.
lgfualol Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Why's everyone worried? We have experienced Upson to take Huth's place.. Dear lord.
dhermon Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Upson Moore Sesay for cover Personally id go with Moore and sesay on the bench over upson.

Thought we did a pretty good job on Hazard but they had quality all over the pitch and it told. In case you had not noticed which is quite possible with your seemingly limited knowledge they are the Champions elect and have walked the premiership.
Guest Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Worse than the loss, I'd rather we hadn't play tonight. Huth, in particular, is very worrying. The streak is over, I can't help feeling this match has completely killed our momentum - hope we have enough to see off Newcastle and get back on track..... I don't think our mental momentum has been affected. We played very well. I can accept playing without Kingy, James played really well after he came on. Huth would be a massive blow. I Huth Schlupp and Nuge play we win easily. What is the problem for Schlupp I've not read anywhere what his injury is.
Corky Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 I would expect players who go off with injuries inside 20 minutes to be doubts. Everything will be done to ensure they have a chance of being fit.

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 30 April 2015 Posted 30 April 2015 Huth is vital. I'd like to think it was precautionary. He certainly didn't look as dejected as when Kingy came off. Pray for Huth! Having said that there's a wider concern... surely all the lads will be knackered come Saturday? Although I'm sure this was considered in last nights team selection. But fatigue could be a major factor, IF, we don't pick up a win on Saturday.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 any news? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32460323 According to the BBC preview, Nuge is definitely out, Huth and King are doubts, Schlupp is available - was really hoping Huth would be ok but if Schlupp's in that's a definite boost
Number 6 Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 If Schlupp is back that would give us a respectable back 4 with option of back 3 if we put RDL there again. We'll miss Huth if out, but Schlupp being back means we can put out a decent defence, and gives us more formation options. Also, calling us a mess against Chelsea is one of the stupidest things I have read on here.

We've won 4 from 5, if we can get 2 from 4 we'll most probably make it. And if we maintain our high standards against Newcastle we'll beat them.

Harry - LCFC Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 Imagine it'd take a lot to make Huth walk. Reckon that's his season. Injuries don't have to be serious to force players to leave the pitch. It doesn't matter how tough you are, you can't play through a small strain that stops you from running. Determination won't alter the fact that you can't move your legs properly for a day or two. The fact he felt at first he might be able to continue suggests that this is probably a less severe one.
AyewJoking Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 Its so cruel how these highly paid athletes are forced to play 3 times a week.
