weller54 Posted 14 May 2015 Author Posted 14 May 2015 It should be a great atmosphere on Saturday no room for negativity. If we turn up playing in the same manner then we should be ok. It might be a game to bring back Konchesky to help Schlupp with Johnson. While Morgan deals with Defoe. I'd go with Hammond to replace James alongside Cambiasso. I have a feeling that Kramaric will come to score the Winner or earn a penalty against O Shea. Foxes never quit. Have we got a 15yr old girl on our books?.. That'll keep Adam Johnson occupied!!
jammie82uk Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 stat time Sunderland have won four and lost none of their last six league meetings with Leicester City, keeping a clean sheet in their last two. Leicester City have failed to win any of their last six away to Sunderland in league competition (D3 L3), last recording a victory there in August 1995. The Foxes have won their last two away games; they've never won three in a row in the Premier League. Jamie Vardy has scored three goals and provided four assists in his last eight Premier League games. The Black Cats have been victorious in their last two PL games; they've not won three in a row since May 2014 when they embarked upon a four-game winning run to avoid relegation. Leicester have kept four clean sheets in their last five PL games, more than they recorded in their previous 19 in the competition (3). Sunderland have the lowest scoring top goalscorer in the Premier League this season - Conor Wickham with five goals. Only four teams (PSG 21, Borussia Monchengladbach, Real Madrid and Barcelona 19) in Europe's top five leagues have won more points from their last seven games than Leicester City (18). No Premier League side has shipped more goals at home this season than Sunderland (27) - level with Newcastle and Crystal Palace. If Sunderland win and Hull fail to beat Tottenham, the Black Cats will be safe from relegation. Similarly, a point for the Foxes will be enough to secure survival providing the Tigers lose at White Hart Lane.

davieG Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 Leicester City midfielder Andy King is back in the reckoning for the Barclays Premier League trip to Sunderland on Saturday, according to manager Nigel Pearson. The Wales international has missed the last two of the Foxes’ fixtures after picking up a calf injury in the defeat to champions Chelsea at the end of April. King’s return will be welcoming news to the City boss after midfielder Matty James' rehabilitation period following his anterior cruciate ligament injury was confirmed as being from six to nine months. Striker David Nugent, meanwhile, remains sidelined due to the calf problem he picked up in the pre-match warmup prior to the 2-0 victory over Swansea City. “Well obviously there’s the Matty James injury from last week, but that apart, it’s as we were really,” Pearson said. "Andy King comes back into contention, so it’s pretty much one out one in. “We’ve got a fit squad to choose from and we’ve had that for the vast majority of the season.” Currently three points above the drop-zone, the Foxes head to the Stadium of Light knowing a win could secure their Premier League status. Anticipating yet another tough test, Pearson added: “The two games are ones that we have to get the right result for us. The game against Sunderland is a very important game but in the context of the season, it remains very much a similar message. That is that we want it to be in our own hands, but this gives us another opportunity. “Our efforts in this run have made it a more realistic possibility to stay up. I don’t think I’ll fall into the trap of going into any game thinking the job is done. That’s not the case.” Read more at http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/king-back-in-contention-2456953.aspx#gE61it4c9B2hEzI1.99

All the sides won't reach 40 points. Look after what we can affect has to remain the mantra. Then what the others do doesn't really matter.

4everfox Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 We're getting 43 points anyway! It should have been 46 but Chelsea cheated! If we got to 43 points it would be the most incredible turnaround of form I've ever seen as a Leicester fan. As a matter of fact I view it that way already.
iancognito Posted 14 May 2015 Posted 14 May 2015 We're getting 43 points anyway! It should have been 46 but Chelsea cheated! I genuinely believe if we'd not lost Hooooth and Kingy that night we'd have been more solid and held on for at least a point I hope no-one who's going to this gives the home fans too much stick, the nearest tickets we could get were in the Sunderland block next to our lot. If we score, my levels of restraint will need to be amazing.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Come on Leicester, one final push to get us over the finishing line
kingcarr21 Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Im not too worried. Pearson will make sure he tells the players we win this you have completed the greatest escape ever. We will go out all guns blazing. I predicted a nervy 1-1 but the closer it gets the more i think we will hit them quick and be out of sight by half time. Anyway Spurs will beat Hull so no need to panic.

Ha, that was my one and only trip to Sunderland, first game of the season, Steve Corica's goal scoring debut and Agnew mugging us off when he Equalised. The Foxes have won their last two away games; they've never won three in a row in the Premier League. How many records is Pearson going to break for us?
