Originally the police say they saw him physically strangling her, in court they said she was cowering in the corner shaking. Slight difference! I'm not sure what proportion of black or white players have been accused of bad attitudes but we have had some excellent black pros at this club over the years and they get lauded just as much as the white guys. Some people feel the need to cast a racist shadow over the place, when there really isn't a problem. Maybe the guy is trying to muddy the water, so he can hide his own feelings. For the first part They were two different statements given by two different police officers at different times of arrival at the scene, the first officer stated that he was on top strangling her the second officers statement came when he arrived at the scene and Simpson was already in handcuffs For the second part District Judge Alan Jones was told Ms Ward had abandoned plans to take out a restraining order against him, insisting it would be 'detrimental' and that she 'relies on the defendant's support'.
