Corky Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Seems like Lloyd Dyer is going to Ipswich. Good signing for them.
Soar Fox Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Seems like Lloyd Dyer is going to Ipswich. Good signing for them. Oh Llyod, what could have been if you hadn't got greedy.
AjcW Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Well somethings definitely gone off behind the scenes there! Was a weird and very very Americanised place when I did some work with them last season, even weirder now it seems!
Dan Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 "The Derby way" to my knowledge is a tail off around February time so if anything I'd say they were ahead of schedule, and he's been sacked?
Kitchandro Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 The derby way even Derby fans are laughing at that surely. Ssn just now: do you think the run of 7 games without a win contributed to his sacking? ERRRR YEH PROBS BABE
ealingfox Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 That statement from Mel Morris was petulant and deluded. Absolute clowns.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 I have quite a strong dislike for Derby County, and a lot of love for Pearson, hope he doesn't go there.....
Fox92 Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Wow looking at derbys forum they don't even want Pearson The advantages of having Pearson as manager will outweigh the disadvantages.
Corky Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 The derby way even Derby fans are laughing at that surely. They were from what I saw.
Dan Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 It's amazing how many sets of fans can't look objectively at what Pearson actually did at Leicester. I know it offends some on here when it gets mentioned but Pearson laid some excellent foundations at this club but people are more bothered about over-hyped incidents.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 I don't think Pearson would be given enough time to be a success there, some of the dross they've spunked 25 mill on is quite remarkable.
ScouseFox Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 I don't think Pearson would be given enough time to be a success there, some of the dross they've spunked 25 mill on is quite remarkable. i think he'd get them up this season, considering they're in a much, much better position than when he came to us (either time).
Fox92 Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 i think he'd get them up this season, considering they're in a much, much better position than when he came to us (either time). That is true tbf. Remember both times he came he the squad was pretty much poor compared to some of their players. They have a strong squad. It's tight again though.
AjcW Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 100% Something gone off there... timeline so far today: - Bullshit Statement - Sack First Team Coach and Technical Scout - Replace Captain - Appoint academy director as Manager hmmmm
Dan Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 I don't think Pearson would be given enough time to be a success there, some of the dross they've spunked 25 mill on is quite remarkable. I agree actually. They're nowhere near as nicely set up as they're made out to be. They are in serious danger of becoming another Forest here. To think they've spent a similar amount to us this season is quite embarrassing when you look at their squad. It still reeks of Championship.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 What's all this about Derby not wanting to get promoted this season after spending more than we did to get top of the PL? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35533154

LCFC FOX Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Pearson will probably keep Phillips as his number 2. Maybe a new first team coach like Powell
The Bear Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Pearson would be a perfect fit for Derby. Headcase manager for a headcase owner.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Pearson to Derby is first I've thought he'd want since leaving us. Linked to Bristol city and Villa but didn't seem right fit. He'd do well at Derby if he went
AKCJ Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Headcase or not (he's not), he's a sodding good manager and would be superb at any club in the Championship. Wolves could certainly do with a manager who knows what he's doing for a start.
The Bear Posted 9 February 2016 Posted 9 February 2016 Indeed. You have to wonder why no club has been in talks with Pearson yet though. There have been plenty of sackings (around 13 I think) so far this season. Are they staying away from him because of his antics or has he deludedly decided he's too good for jobs in this league?

Tbf he probably is too good for jobs in that league.
