Kitchandro Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 I don't claim to be ITK but I heard about 2 weeks ago they were getting fed up with PC and want NP to take over. I just hope we keep hold of Shaky but mainly Walsh I think we'll be OK.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Shakespeare and Walsh might be chums with Pearson but if he goes to the shaggers and they follow him it's a bit bloody daft on their part.
Corky Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 It was a strange appointment. Rookie manager given the task of getting a team promoted. A new manager will have a bad run but you can't afford it and he doesn't have the time to turn it around, as well as having no knowledge if he could turn it around. Whoever appointed him should take some of the blame.
ScouseFox Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 my best mate works in tesco doesnt mean im going to jack in my job to go stock shelves
marko Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 "Promotion this season was not the primary target. The priorities were building on the DERBY WAY" said the Candy Crush man! lol lol Nearly fell off my chair howling!
ScouseFox Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 ive just seen that statement on sky sports news. insane. they wanted to do the derby way and they wanted squad depth. they've got loads of squad depth and they started well but are now flapping. that is the derby way. id say hes achieving the aims almost effortlessly.
MC Prussian Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 I agree - is an internal appointment of somebody with no experience as a manager going to change much? What is the "Derby way" exactly? Total reminiscence and that Pineapple Cup competition with Nottingham Forest.
Corky Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 "Promotion this season was not the primary target. The priorities were building on the DERBY WAY" said the Candy Crush man! lol lol Nearly fell off my chair howling! Because everyone spends £25 million to consolidate their 8th place position.
dylanlegend Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 "Promotion this season was not the primary target. The priorities were building on the DERBY WAY" said the Candy Crush man! lol lol Nearly fell off my chair howling! Promotion not the target... What was it then? Transfer ban and points deduction for breaking FFP rules. And people want to 'share the wealth' with teams like this?
4everfox Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 My Derby supporting mate has just informed me that Nigel Pearson is Derby bound according to one of their ITK's
J.Lisemore Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 My Derby supporting mate has just informed me that Nigel Pearson is Derby bound according to one of their ITK's Kevin Phillips is a lucky man then. I do wonder who he'll bring with him.
LCFCFOX6190 Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Wow looking at derbys forum they don't even want Pearson
Long Eaton Fox Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Think he would be a good fit. Championship winning manager takes over a top 6 team. A few wins and he could be back in the prem. Would suit all parties.
suffolk fox Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Shouldn't this be in the general football thread.
MPH Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Hate to say it, but he would indeed be a good fit for them.... It would hurt, though.
ARM1968 Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Not sure he'll take a position before the end of this season. Just a hunch.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Not sure he'll take a position before the end of this season. Just a hunch. too busy cheering us on on a Saturday afternoon no doubt
The Year Of The Fox Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 It'd hurt, but I want them back up here for the away day in the Nav. Though gone would be the days of our 4-0 routine drubbings of them. Maybe.
Soar Fox Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 "We can't sack somebody for not playing the the Derby way and then consider Pearson, Moyes and Rowett as potential replacements, as none of them are renowned for playing free flowing, attacking football" This ram obviously didn't watch us annihilate his team down here in January 2014.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Who cares, one thing he aint bring his ex staff!
Donut Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Get this out of the Leicester thread please. His ghost is still lingering around as we are pushing for a title.
lestajigs Posted 8 February 2016 Posted 8 February 2016 Wouldn't be bothered in the slightest, really don't mind Derby tbf, and Pearson is old news now
