The Blur Posted 10 October 2015 Posted 10 October 2015 Following defeat with Argentina in Ecuador, Sergio Agüero will miss about a month of Premier League action due to a hamstring injury. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34492940 FFS, that is him out of my fantasy team then.

Jimothy Posted 10 October 2015 Posted 10 October 2015 Dafoe will probably be selected for the Euros ahead of Jamie now. I thought he was good as the Green Goblin in Spider-man but not sure about him leading the line for England next summer. He's getting a bit old now anyway, must be 60.

C-man Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Just seen this about season ticket sales in the premier league http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10021170/premier-league-ticket-prices-revealed-season-ticket-holders-spend-1633250-per-game I thought season ticket sales was limited to a certain amount of your capacity ours is arround 23,000 according to the club 73% capacity If that's correct then how have Norwich got away with selling 22,000 season tickets in a 27,000 capacity stadium 81% capacity It seems most teams are around our mark and Norwich seems such an anomaly PL rules stipulate 10% of capacity must be for away fans and a minimum of 5% for match by match fans so they aren't breaking any rules. Having such a high percentage just means the price of a one-off match ticket is higher.
lgfualol Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Tim Krul out for about 8 months. Newcastle will get ****ed some more.
filbertstreet Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Tim Krul out for about 8 months. Newcastle will get ****ed some more. that's newcastle relegated then
Jimothy Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 At least they've got slightly better cover this year in Darlow. Last year they were calling on youth team keepers like Jak Alinwick and Freddie Woodman
Jimothy Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 i'd rather have Alnwick than Darlow That's not the Alnwick city had on loan it's his younger brothers who's about 20. Darlow is out too anyway
VLC86 Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Tim Krul out for about 8 months. Newcastle will get ****ed some more. Slipped disk from bending down too much?

Guest ttfn Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Best set of Saturday 3pm kick offs I can remember for ages this weekend: Everton v Man United Crystal Palace (4th) v West Ham (6th) League leaders Man City on (home to Bournemouth) Chelsea playing (relegation six pointer against Villa) Southampton v Leicester has the potential to be an absolute cracker as well. The only crap match on is West Brom v Sunderland and even that is Big Sam's first game. I wonder when the last time Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City all kicked off at 3 on a Saturday was?

Jimothy Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Alnwick now plays for Port Vale. I know, I was pointing out they now have better cover than him, before I realised Darlow was injured.

Saturday 27th September, 2014. Chelsea vs Aston Villa Hull vs Man City Man Utd vs West Ham Thankfully didn't take that long to search on Statto/Soccerbase. Merseyside Derby and North London Derby were TV games that day.
Donut Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 I think Newcastle have got talent in their squad, im quite surprised that they are where they are. But its not just talent, its an attitude thing at the club too, from players who are used to losing and have fragile mental strength, and from fans who are in the process of venting anger (rightly) at Mike Ashley. It needs a man who can bring this talent out of the players theyve got. Theyve shown in patches what they can do this season, the 0-0 at Man Utd, the excellent first half vs Man City, the performance for 70 mins vs Chelsea. But their fragility has shown up when things start going wrong in the last two. Who the man to get the best out of them is though is anyones guess. Theyve had plenty of managers, all ranging from moderately successful to dreadful.
MC Prussian Posted 12 October 2015 Posted 12 October 2015 Tim Krul out for about 8 months. Newcastle will get ****ed some more. Doesn't help when your back-up is called Woodman.

Collection of individuals, some good, some pretty bad. I'm nowhere near sold on McClaren either. His last few months at Derby were a total disaster.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 15 October 2015 Posted 15 October 2015 just seen bournemouth got another injury haha fvcking no marks

People say he's one of the greatest coaches going.... so why does he continue to fail as a manager when he can supposedly get any coaching job he wants? I don't think i've seen a player, under his management, that has progressed their careers as much as you'd expect from a supposed world class coach. He's a bit of a fraud when it comes to management IMO. Shows how much Newcastle has fallen that they were so desperate to get him in.
