Richmondfox Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 He'll be trying to poach kramma and ulloa But if he has burnt bridges with the owners they might refuse to do business with him like Hull did with us when he was here.
Wymsey Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Would wish him all the best just as long as it doesn't haunt us. Maybe if he does manage them, and finally off our books, he'll be able to reveal the actual reason being his sacking?
AKCJ Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Shame we've already played Sunderland at home. Would have been nice to thank Pearson for last season. Anyway, onwards and upwards
Callabinho Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Fearful of losing Mr. Walsh senior. If Person gets the Sunderland job.
AKCJ Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Fearful of losing Mr. Walsh senior. If Person gets the Sunderland job. I don't think he'll leave just to join Pearson. He's set his roots here with his scouting network and i'll be amazed if he ditches that to join a club heading downwards on what will likely be a lesser wage. Besides, it's not like we've got to scour the French 2nd division for talent these days.
RonnieTodger Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Dyche taking Sunderland down would just be too good.

Indeed, they haven't had it this good before... and I would imagine will be on more than what Sunderland would be offering, it is set up nicely for them and I'm sure they are enjoying it at the club
The Blur Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Dyche taking Sunderland down would just be too good. If I am in his shoes, I might would be tempted to take the job, sure they are more likely to go down but I think Dyche's reputation will only be damaged a little because everyone know it is a poisoned chalice from the start and he will get to start a long term project with more money than Burnley.
ealingfox Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 If Dyche really has turned them down to stay at Poverty FC he's either a mug or a coward. Edit - Or both.
suffolk fox Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 I find it extremely sad the amount of our fans who are currently commenting and subscribing to the Sunderland fans forum cos they Think Nigel Pearson is going to be their next manager? Someone has even alluded to the fact that if he does become their next manager their attendances will increase by about 2000 fans as a lot of Leicester fans will want to support them? Personally I am astounded. You support the team not one man? Nobody has told them their first signing will be James Pearson and their first substitution in a game will be in the 69th minute. A like for like substitution. Oh and they will play one up front against the bigger teams..
ScouseFox Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 yeah like the one up front we played vs chelsea home and away, vs united home and away (we played 3 up front at home ffs), vs spurs home and away, vs liverpool, everton, arsenal at home, ahh whats the point

I still follow Martin O'Neills career closely, and I'll follow NP's closely as well, does having an interest in a person who has given you some of the best times and days of your life following a club you love make you a nob? Don't see what some goons going on a Sunderland forum talking horse shit has to do with my admiration and respect for a man who gave me so much joy. And as for the substitution comment. Please.
Freesolo Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Klopp going to Liverpool by the end of the week. Never managed in the prem £200k+ a week & bonuses I'm sure he will be worth every penny
Great Boos Up Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Did we approach Klopp, after NP? If so I bet he's kicking himself. Relegation favourite to Champions league is a big pair bollocks CV! All yours now Claudio !
st albans fox Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Not sure that klopp has the gravitas to succeed at lpool. When you have a directors box filled with European cup winners each week, there is added pressure on the man in the dugout. Rogers had nothing on his cv to point to. Klopp has a couple of cups and bundesliga titles as manager. Ancelotti is a safer bet. He has been there done it as a player and manager.
CosbehFox Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Ancelotti won't touch the job - he's passed that stage in his career where he has to build a team, he finishes them off. Klopp however that's where he excels - Mainz and BVB he built them up to the next level.
Corky Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Some good news for Sunderland fans- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3261857/Harry-Redknapp-says-no-chance-Sunderland-manager-follows-David-Moyes-Sam-Allardyce-rejecting-job-Stadium-Light.html Anyone else who has not been ruled in now ruling themselves out?
Wymsey Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 What is Liverpool's target this season. Top 4? Doubt it as their defence has been quite comical recently and am also not convinced with their strikeforce (barring Sturridge).
Tuna Posted 6 October 2015 Posted 6 October 2015 Its getting beyond parody now: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/610317/Sunderland-manager-Bob-Bradley-shock-bid
