No doubt there was contact, but was the contact enough to send Zaha over? It looked theatrical and im sure that played on Mike Deans mind. It needed a lot of looks on replay, so the referee not giving it wasnt a shock.

The Britannia is no longer that away game you dread, mainly because theyve replaced their big bastards that would give you a hard physical game, and brought in players who are good footballers. Maybe they have gone too far the other way though. Without that core of Shawcross (injury of course), N'Zonzi, Bardsley, Crouch to name a few, these are all guys that would, for want of a better word, "have it" with you on the pitch.
