Mark Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Do Swansea actually rate Barrow more than Nathan Dyer?
StanSP Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Do Swansea actually rate Barrow more than Nathan Dyer? he's probably been the worst of the lot. Not by far though cos everyone has been shite.
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 I honestly don't understand why Swansea let us have Dyer. I'm not saying he's better than Ayew or Montero but surely he's a better option than this Barrow? Their loss is our gain.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Nooooooooooooooooo please don't sack him A draw would be perfect, doesn't affect their position and Captain Helmet keeps his job. Southampton for them next week which gets written off and he stays a bit longer. Before you know it it's Christmas and they're still on about 6 points

As a matter of interest, could they ask to have Dyer back, or have we got him to the end of the season come what may?
potter3 Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 As a matter of interest, could they ask to have Dyer back, or have we got him to the end of the season come what may? He's ours, don't think you can recall long term loans, and we also paid a fee for him.
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 As a matter of interest, could they ask to have Dyer back, or have we got him to the end of the season come what may? We've got him till the end of the season. They cannot recall him
Corky Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Mark Hughes is a good manager. Stoke made a shrewd appointment.
Donut Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 Swansea will be fine, theyll get their act together, they have quality. A run of a few defeats does not automatically mean a team is doggo.
Dan Posted 19 October 2015 Posted 19 October 2015 I brought Bafetimbi Gomis into my Fantasy Football team after they beat Man United. At that point he'd scored in every game and it was the only thing I could think of to make his panther celebration remotely bearable. Since then he's scored 0 and assisted 0. Watching him today he looks barely pub standard. Typical. Replace Gomis with Ayew and that's a similar situation here. It absolutely baffles me Swansea loaned us Dyer.
themightyfin Posted 20 October 2015 Posted 20 October 2015 As a matter of interest, could they ask to have Dyer back, or have we got him to the end of the season come what may? We paid £670,000 and agreed to pay 100% of his wages so no recall option.
foxfanazer Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Looks like a cracking fixture list this weekend. The league table will really start to take shape now
davieG Posted 23 October 2015 Author Posted 23 October 2015 Aston Villa can avoid relegation just like Leicester City – Tim Sherwood By Tamworth Herald | Posted: October 23, 2015 Jonathan Brady/PA Wire/Press Association Images Tim Sherwood will be hoping to ease the pressure by picking up three points against Swansea tomorrow. Comments (0)TIM Sherwood has vowed to get Aston Villa through their barren spell and says his relegation-threatened side can take inspiration from high-flying Leicester City. The Birmingham club are anchored inside the relegation zone, four points off 17th placed Bournemouth. And despite a tricky run of fixtures coming up the Villa boss says the Foxes are the perfect benchmark following their miraculous escape at the end of last season. When asked if his side can avoid the drop, Sherwood said: "Absolutely. We can take inspiration from teams like Leicester, who were certainly at the bottom of the Premier League for a lot of months last season. "They put a run together which we're capable of doing and they still carried that into next season. Paul Harding/PA Wire/Press Association Images "This group of players will improve in the Premier League next year because it's been a hard experience at the moment and we can't hide away from it. "It's been a tough period but we will get through it. "It will be easier come the end of the season believe me." Sherwood comes up against a struggling Swansea City side tomorrow in what he's called a 'must-win game'. The claret and blues have not won in the Premier League since the opening day and Sherwood says it's not for the want of trying. He added: "I can't do more than what I'm doing to be perfectly honest. "I'm working hard with the players to try to get the best out of them; trying to find the best formula. "It will be successful in the end given time." ScouseFox Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 his interview today was mental, he basically denied they were in a relegation scrap, said there was no chance they were going down and said something else stupid that i can't remember. so weird. like you are literally the worst team in the league, you can't just smile and pretend you aren't in trouble? at least admit you are but say you're gonna try and get out of it, he seemed almost oblivious to how football works.

What happened to us was incredible. It won't happen again. He's relying on a miracle and it's only October. Sounds like defeatism to me.
