Bluearmyfox28 Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 Jordan's the more doggo one right? Correct the good one went Swansea i think?
AjcW Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 Man City getting booed in a City where they've spent a fortune to create a base for their brand... you couldn't make it up Real have looked good, think the inexperienced city centre backs were the difference
Dan Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 I can't read Lorient without thinking Leyton Orient. Hipsters can't read Leyton Orient without thinking Lorient.
st albans fox Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 Abou Diaby has passed a medical at WBA. How?!? Brilliant signing IF he can stay fit. assume the contract will be heavily based on appearances (or availability) so not much risk for WBA.
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 That Jordan Ayew who is on his way to Villa has kicked up a fuss about his club standing in the way of his move. Apparently they initially wanted 10m euros but have now upped it significantly because they think they can squeeze more out of Villa. He's currently in Birmingham and is refusing to return to France despite his club demanding him to
lgfualol Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 Abou Diaby has passed a medical at WBA. How?!? Broke his leg taking off his boots after the medical.
J.Lisemore Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Turns out he's close to signing for our stalkers, Marseille Thought he had a point to prove here really, must have come down to who had the greater medical facilities.
Guest ttfn Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 If you're feeling nostalgic pop over to the Watford forum and have a read about what they're saying. Basically the exact same things as we did last year (without having a record-breaking season to back it up though obviously). Also seem to have some sort of weird Bournemouth hate akin to the dislike a lot have for Burnley here.
MC Prussian Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Angel Di Maria is rumoured to join PSG anytime soon - and that for £46m. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33666730 That would result in a total loss of roughly £14m for Manchester United.
MC Prussian Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Stevan Jovetic goes to Inter on a season-long loan; a contract that includes a buy-out clause open to the Italian club next summer.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Stevan Jovetic goes to Inter on a season-long loan; a contract that includes a buy-out clause open to the Italian club next summer. Cheers MC. Keep the info coming. Believe it or not, I look to your posts for this type of info. (Any info on the form of Swiss league sides would be useful too)
MC Prussian Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 It's quite the keeper posse - Manchester United sign free agent Sergio Romero (of Sampdoria and Monaco fame), whilst still seeking a club that would pitch in a decent bid for David De Gea and after officially parting ways with Victor Valdes.
Stevosevic Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Ray Wilkins hopeful of Adebayor will be next player into Villa after Ayew. Their squad isn't looking too bad now, he was brilliant under Sherwood at Spurs.
foxfanazer Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Ray Wilkins hopeful of Adebayor will be next player into Villa after Ayew. Their squad isn't looking too bad now, he was brilliant under Sherwood at Spurs. Workrate of a snail. Don't think its a good signing at all
Jimothy Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Ray Wilkins hopeful of Adebayor will be next player into Villa after Ayew. Their squad isn't looking too bad now, he was brilliant under Sherwood at Spurs. Sold a top striker and replaced him with the wrong Ayew and one of the laziest strikers in English football history. Sold a very good midfielder (and captain) and signed a left back. Released their only decent centre back and haven't replaced him. They only just stayed up last year, they're gonna really struggle this year.

Their squad isn't looking too bad now, he was brilliant under Sherwood at Spurs. They have lost their 3 best players and they were turgid last season. I'd be worried if I was a Villa fan. Adebayor is an utter cretin
Stadt Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 id be more worried about this season if Villa, Watford and Sunderland weren't all doggo
Stevosevic Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Whether he is lazy or not, he's scored 35 premier league goals in 87 games for Spurs, that's a good return with his best spell being under Sherwood.
Jimothy Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Whether he is lazy or not, he's scored 35 premier league goals in 87 games for Spurs, that's a good return with his best spell being under Sherwood. In an attack minded Spurs team with midfielders over that time like Bale, Modric, Van dee Vaart, Sigurdsson, Erikson and Chadli making chances for him. He won't have that service and support at Villa with the likes of Sinclair, Westwood and Sanchez.

Jimothy Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Fair point. I'll shut up now. He'll probably score 30 next season now!
