He was basically praising the Newcastle players for their commitment and fight last night. ..despite the fact that they had less than half a dozen half chances all game. And lost again. With the size of their support and club and now with the money they've spent, to be where they are and considering relegation is frankly abysmal. McLaren is another Sven. He's been riding on the crest of a reputation for years but is actually pretty clueless. Newcastle looked to have more fight to stay up under John Carver! An awful lot of very very disgruntled fans today. .What a Wally!
