Donut Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Man City's players have all aged together, all past their best, all need replacing. No long term vision now leading to massive rebuilding.
adam Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 The ref in the Manchester derby completely bottled two big decisions. Smalling should of walked and he missed a blatant penalty. It's about time these refs had to come out and explain their decisions .
ARM1968 Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 I'm worried because Kane is on fire and Vardy is not. I fear that if Vardy doesn't find his touch again soon Kane's finishing will be the difference in the end. I hope not, but it's a concern.

Vardy is still giving a lot to the team though even without scoring. I think its just been a spell where weve had to dig in for wins, i dont think it goes beyond that

It's funny, both teams have gone almost full circle. We used to be very reliant on Vardy scoring and Spurs weren't too reliant on Kane. There was a stat earlier in the season that if you took all Kane's goals away they'd actually be better off points wise because he hadn't scored a decisive goal other than his OG v Swansea, all his others had been when they'd won by a couple. Now of you took his goals away in the last few weeks they'd have dropped a lot of points, we'd have only lost the Liverpool points.
ARM1968 Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 Yes I know and basically agree. Let's hope you're right.
Jattdogg Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 At this point we will be in the top 2 by seasons end no doubt. That said all i can say is..
UPinCarolina Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 Not Premier League, but watch the winner for AFC Wimbledon at the end of the clip. What a strike!
z-layrex Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 I would feel heartbroken at second. I think most of us would at this point. Especially to Spurs with the way their fans have behaved.
Nalis Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 We have had a better weekend than Tottenham because the gap remains the same with one game less for them to make it up. Exactly. Not only that but we also won a game many Spurs fans had us down to draw whereas a home win for Spurs against Bournemouth was expected. Also, we were never going to match their goal difference so font think it matters at this stage if they beat teams 1-0 or 10-0.
HighPeakFox Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 Food for thought http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/03/20/this-is-no-blip---the-premier-league-has-changed-forever/
NGoloMode Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 Nigel Pearson front runner for the Aston Villa job. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3501833/Remi-Garde-set-depart-Aston-Villa-chairman-Steve-Hollis-continues-make-changes-ahead-expected-relegation.html If there is someone who could possibly sort them out next season it's Pearson. He'll get rid of all the bad eggs in no time.
foxfanazer Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 Hope Nige doesn't become the new Alan Curbishley
kingcarr21 Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 We are on 66 points. I've said for weeks that 75 points will be enough to win the league and I still believe that will be enough. 3 more wins out of 7 games is more than achievable. People are panicking that we wont get a single point in the last 3 games. If the job isn't done by the final 3 games I can see Leicester running riot against all 3 of them to get the job done. Don't worry about Spurs. If they close the gap then fair enough. It will be because of our own failings and if Spurs win the league fair play to them. I am very confident we can finish the season on enough points to win the league.
spurs1980 Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 Bastards! Stop winning. Well played Leicester. Every 1-0 win is like a punch in the gut for the chasing pack. You guys are looking good, the belief is certainly there and I'll be surprised if you let up now. Stranger things have happened so I'll hope but the focus and concentration is so sharp right now, Schmeichel, Huth and Morgan have been monstrous. I really do hope we manage to genuinely make it a two horse race come to the last few games, unfortunately for us, I think Arsenal will finish very strongly. Next few games for us will obviously tell us a lot more. Liverpool away is very tough. Who knows what side show up. Hoping they will be distracted with their Dortmund game on the Thursday. Man Utd at home too will be tricky. Two teams we traditionally struggle to beat. Remain hopeful, but really can't see Leicester throwing it away now. And don't listen to those moany spurs/arsenal/[insert other bitter team here]... if you win it, it's thoroughly deserved. Leicester are still far better than people give them credit for.

You stop winning as well. Why cant you just lose so we can relax. Fair play to Spurs they aren't giving up without a fight. I'm hopeful that after the next 2 games the gap could increase or at the worst stay as it is. I personally think 3 more wins will be enough for us. Very tough games for you but we have our own tough fixtures so there could be many twists before the end of the season. If Spurs claw it back and win the league I would be devastated but at the end of the day the team who wins it will deserve it. Now f*** off and lose
Guest Col city fan Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 Pearson likely off to Villa then, if reports are correct. And a 2 mill payoff for the current bloke! As long as Nige keeps his hands off our back-room staff, then fine.

As long as Nige keeps his hands off our back-room staff, then fine. Perfect fit for him that. Maybe Middlesbrough but he'll sort Villa out and get rid of the deadwood. Wouldn't be surprised if he signed De Laet and Ulloa for Villa
AKCJ Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 I'll be surprised if it gets taken by a proper manager before they actually go down. Spend the next few months with a nobody in charge and then let an actual manager come in in the summer and begin the clear out. Villa don't have an awful squad on paper and there are a few "Pearson" players in their side. The likes of Westwood and Gestede will do well in my opinion and regardless of who takes over, I don't see them dropping like Leeds or Sheff Wed.

weller54 Posted 21 March 2016 Posted 21 March 2016 Spuds moronic fans.. To the only tune they know.. Leicester city we're coming for you, we're coming for you.. Leicester city.. We're coming for you! .. Bellends!

Players, managers and coaches leave clubs all ofthe time but Leicester City will remain. They'd ve leaving us in a much stronger state than when they joined

Bellends! They're singing that and we're singing "Barcelona, we're coming for you". If that doesn't sum this season up then I don't know what will.
