Matt Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Celtic. ..ha ha ha! Piss off! Seriously is he being linked with them?
Christoph Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Lukaku wants to leave Everton because they've not got Champions League. Welcome to Leicester, Romelu. We can dream. Him and vardy would be terrifying
Danizen Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 We'd have to drop about £50m on him and knowing us, he'd probably score 3 goals all season.
Buce Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 We'd have to drop about £50m on him and knowing us, he'd probably score 3 goals all season. And pay him 100k a week. He'll be going to Utd or Chelsea.
Wymsey Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 Can't see Diego Costa staying, based on his recent aggressive attitude. Would be a perfect fit for Chelsea now he's developed very well and still young; he's similar to Drogba in terms of style. Falcao appears to be an over-rated flop.
Phube Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 He'll be going to Utd or Chelsea. But he wants Champion's League football?
Buce Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 But he wants Champion's League football? Not as much as he wants the gold, I suspect. Besides, I have a feeling Utd will make the top four at Man City's expense.
jammie82uk Posted 26 March 2016 Posted 26 March 2016 And pay him 100k a week. He'll be going to Utd or Chelsea. After how they treated him Why would he want to go back to Chelsea?
AyewJoking Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 After how they treated him Why would he want to go back to Chelsea? coin innit.
Poznan34 Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Barkley is okay. Stones just isn't all that he's hyped up to be imp. Gaff master central. Crazy that Everton rejected £40m for him in the summer!
AyewJoking Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Crazy that Everton rejected £40m for him in the summer! not really. not that he's worth £40 million but they know they can laugh at that kind of money and hold out to see if anyone offers an even bigger amount.
EastAnglianFox Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Butland ruled out for around 3 months. Feel for him, and guess more selfishly gutted he will be missing as Stoke play Spurs in a few weeks.
weller54 Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Butland ruled out for around 3 months. Feel for him, and guess more selfishly gutted he will be missing as Stoke play Spurs in a few weeks. Yet another piece of luck for the spawny spuds!
Matt Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Zlaten's had interest from Premier League clubs. Zlaten, Lukaku and Vardy upfront next season
The Bear Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 I'd love to see Zlatan in the Prem before he gets past it. Absolute arrogance personified and refers to himself in the third person, but has the skills to back it up.
Fox92 Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Yet another piece of luck for the spawny spuds! 'Luck' has nothing to do with it. 30+ games and the best three teams are at the top and the worse three are at the bottom.
Matt Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 You know someone phoned Radio Leicester and Ian Stringer did an interview with someone pretending to be Anthony Knockaert? (I thought there was a YouTube video of the audio, but can't find it now! ) Well someone's took it to a national level, someone's done an interview on Sky Sports News pretending to be Shay Given https://youtu.be/P6QMxxxHe74 Sky Sports News is going downhill fast, it used to be a good channel, informative and reliable, but it's been poor for a while now, I really noticed it in the summer (Maybe before that infact) when they were using Football Manager to compare players (Mind you alot of people on here do that ) and the way the report bullshit transfer rumours then seem late on other deals that are actually happening, then you have the 'such and such a story will be on next'...1 and a half hours later you're still waiting, they love the word imminent (Which I always thought meant about to happen) again hours later you're still waiting.
Captain... Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Re: the Sterling is shit chat, he clearly isn't, but we do what we have always done in this country. Lump all our expectations on a kid on the back of some good performances and then when he doesn't live up to those impossibly high standards expected of him by the press the fans the England set-up even some clubs they are labelled as shit. We need to allow our young players to be fallible, to make mistakes go off form and be humans. For club and country look at Kane and Alli the workload they have completed already this season, they will drop off at some point and when they do they need to be rested not run into the ground under the burden of expectation. How many players have burst on to the scene looked amazing suffered injuries and never fulfilled their potential. Walcott, Wilshire, Sturridge, Barkley, now Sterling it is a very familiar pattern.

If he stops diving i'll perhaps give him some credit and look at his potential, until he does that i'm sorry I can't look past it or respect him. I remember our home game against Liverpool last season, he did literally nothing but dive. Twat. Walcott I like, he get's a hard press. Wilshire, meh sicknote, always injured. Sturridge see Wilshire. Barkley, I like him, he should definetly be an England starter. Sterling, stop diving and i'd consider him, until then he should get nothing but bad press. 10,000 step over count for nothing if you end up on your arse.

I think you have proved Captain's point at how you have automatically wrote off Sturridge and Wilshere just because they get injuries a lot. I do not really rate Wilshere, he is not bad but Alli is lot better than him. Sturridge on other hand is genuinely decent and have worked hard to build his career after falling down pecking order due to Man City and Chelsea's riches so I thought it was harsh to write him off.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Sturridge is a good footballer but is a shite athlete.

The FM comparisons on here are a bit tongue in cheek, I do generally find it quite accurate but I agree it's a bit weird for a news channel to use them. Sky have become absolutely shite in my eyes this season. They've become unprofessional and their football output has dipped immensely. If I lived on my own there's no way on earth I'd have it.

Tell your girlfriend or whoever to switch to BT Sport, better coverage and value imo.
