Posted 19 June 2015 Posted 19 June 2015 Press sensationalism...Grealish looked comatosed on holiday - (much like his Wembley appearance last month) - and like Sterling inhaled a mouthful of N2O from a party balloon. Minor reprimand, no major damage to club or personal reputation. I didn't mean damage, damage, but it only concerns themselves and their reputation (which for Sterling is pretty low poor at the moment anyway) it doesn't reflect badly on the club as they are doing this in their own time and not while representing the club. As for the role models bit, I always find it funny that these papers are up in arms about these "role models" doing bad things and all these impressionable youngsters seeing them behave so shockingly that they will copy them, so shocking that they have to splash it all over the front page just to make sure that every impressionable youngster that might look up to these people know what they have been up to.

Potentially quite a serious development if true but I'd imagine it won't be worth the effort now that they're out of the country and the story is pretty much over.

It reminds me of all those who slow down to study road accidents, people who watch 'soap operas', and those who have nothing better to do than 'pick over the bones' of a sad situation because somehow it makes them feel good that they are 'better'. As I mentioned before the girls next job would have probably been some 70 year old sweaty American drooling from their mouth. Kids are chopped at a young age over there to create lady boys. What they did was not something they would have found appalling. Broke laws? What laws were broken? Apart from Hopper saying slit eye there were absolutely no laws broken and as I said the only victim was the potential damage of the clubs image. These guys have lost an awful lot for one of them saying slit eye and being foolish in filming it. I remember a teacher calling me four eyes on a number of occasions when I was 10 years old. Not pleasant. She was about 50 at the time and she suffered far less consequences verbally abusing a ten year old than these lads did shagging whores. But anyway, carry on, go get em. Try and destroy them as much as you can. Crazy post. Also your teacher sounds like a bit of a charachter....what school did you go??..sounds quite posh...if you had gone to my school you would have been called much worse.

Stcks and stones and all that. I would not say I was bullied but I was never part of the in-crowd. I was a loner who best mate was the fat kid. I was useful sometimes to the tougher kids when they needed help in the classroom. But when I was at school it was natual yo use the N and W words. Not that I ever did because if you are singled out yourseolf it helps you to understand how it feels for others.This is one reason why I speak out when I think something is unfair. Probably the wrong thread and depressing for others so I will end the post here.
