Max Power Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 What's the reason behind the sacking then? His son? Arguements over recruitment with Walsh, Rudkin? Other? The more I think about it, the more confused I get.
GingerrrFox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 It's all to do with what happened in Thailand. Nothing more than that.
Max Power Posted 30 June 2015 Author Posted 30 June 2015 It's all to do with what happened in Thailand. Nothing more than that. Why now then? They sacked his idiot son, what, two weeks ago? It seems the most likely but I dunno.
Tielemans63 Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Combination of things I reckon: McArthur The original sacking Thailand James Pearson Okazaki Sako's wages Difference in expectations
Charl91 Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 He insinuated to Top that he was flexible enough to stick his head in the ground, and that Top wasn't. Top did not take kindly to this, especially after Nigel then proceeded to say that he was either very, very silly or absolutely stupid.
Soar Fox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Even if he didn't agree with his son getting sacked wasn't he out of contract anyway? Surely they weren't planning on giving him another deal. I think it will be to do with the Okazaki transfer and it was more of a owners signing than a Pearson one.
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I assume it's a catalogue of daftness off the pitch. The relationship with the media, with the owners etc. It all matters. With the three plonkers in Thailand tipping it all over the edge. I have no idea why the owners have said enough. But I guess it's not an isolated thing.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Meddling from the owners to some degree about who to sign. Pearson didn't like it therefore he was sacked.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Well, Top was his only ally in terms of getting reinstated. I assume after that the chances of him being long term were seriously lessened.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I'm assuming for both scenarios he's returned off his holiday/back to work today or yesterday. He's kicked off to them about the sacking of James P. (Out of order if so as he deserved to be sacked) The owners have always intended on sacking him since the video came out but wanted to do it face to face.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Top's just finished his 2014/2015 Football manager season with Leicester City and came 13th... therefore Pearson had to go.
tylesta Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I heard that top was sleeping with Pearson's daughter
Soar Fox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I heard that top was sleeping with Pearson's daughter Makes sense seen as Chris wood is apparently in Leeds.
yorkie1999 Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Never mix booze and a hot day, co's shit happens..
cc_star Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Okazaki signing? Son sacking? The sacking/unsacking shambles, they were waiting for someone else to come available and after June 30th they will be?
Soar Fox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Top and Vichai are mentally ill. They were the best owners in the world last week.
AmyLGK Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Why would it be about Okazaki when Pearson has been open about them wanting him the last three windows?
Spiritwalker Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Even if he didn't agree with his son getting sacked wasn't he out of contract anyway? Surely they weren't planning on giving him another deal. I think it will be to do with the Okazaki transfer and it was more of a owners signing than a Pearson one. I would be suprised if was any thing to do with the Okazaki transfer NP seemed all for it.
RowlattsFox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Pearson was sacked weeks ago which is why he's not been heard from. Club wanted to wait until a new manager has agreed before announcing it.
lgfualol Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 They were the best owners in the world last week. Sudden deterioration in mental health.
Blue army boys Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Thailand incident was final straw. Not heard anything from Pearson for a while so obviously something has been brewing
fox93 Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Sky Sports are reporting he was sacked for his response and reaction to James Pearsons' sacking. Sad if true
