The_77 Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 He got beat at home by the Faroe Islands, THE FAROE ISLANDS. If our wost ever team at their lowest point all had pneumonia and they came up against the Faroe Islands at home they would not get beat! EDIT: THE FAROE ISLANDS!!! With what's been happening in Greece over the last few years, I can't imagine it's the easiest place to work. Would you not take any top manager who has ever lost to a minnow in the FA Cup?
Jace Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 He also sold Dennis Wise to us. At least he wanted rid of him
The_77 Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 I think his record is pretty poor really. Considering all of the top clubs he has managed, he has only really won 2 cups in the last 20 years or so. (in the top flight) He did a helluva job at Monaco, which is probably more relevant to us.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Every time he changes a single player he'll be called the Tinkerman on here.
muzzy1981 Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Has cambiasso played for him before. I reckon camby retention will play a big part in our targets
Viva Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 He did a helluva job at Monaco, which is probably more relevant to us. Monaco are traditionally one of the top 2 or 3 teams in France though so it's not like they didn't have the potential to get back near the top.

EDIT: THE FAROE ISLANDS!!! if that result is so significant then maybe we should be signing up the Faroe Islands' manager.
TheSomersetFox Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Just looked through wiki at his managerial career and such, he's been pretty successful almost everywhere he's gone by the sounds of it. wouldn't be disappointed at all.
NeilLCFC Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Wish they just put whatever has happened behind them and bring Pearson back. If Roman and Jose could do it, why can't Top and Nige

Was you reading the same wiki as me? To me he seems to have been sacked pretty much everywhere or resigned!
Guest ttfn Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Only concern would be playing style really. I was a big fan of vintage high-tempo Pearson and I suspect we wouldn't see that under Ranieri
Number 6 Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 I'm more for this than Guus, but I'm not sure why haha
st albans fox Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Was you reading the same wiki as me? To me he seems to have been sacked pretty much everywhere or resigned! Is there another way?
TheSomersetFox Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Was you reading the same wiki as me? To me he seems to have been sacked pretty much everywhere or resigned! Italian/Spanish chairmen tend to be a bit weird, he was only sacked for doing an actual bad job in his second spell at Valencia by the looks of it
Wymsey Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Betting on next manager of here, changes the odds all the time:
Dan Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 I'm more for this than Guus, but I'm not sure why haha Same here. I think it's probably linked to the fact Ranieri has actually done well at a team fairly recently (Monaco). Wonder why they let him go though?
ScouseFox Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 I'm more for this than Guus, but I'm not sure why haha cos he looks nicer
lcfcsnow Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 He should be avoided for losing to the equivalent of Hinckley United as Greece boss.
Suffolk exile Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Really not sure about this one......supposedly popular with the players he's worked with. ...
Tielemans63 Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Jose Mourinho fella lost 2-4 at home to Bradford this season, would you discount him on that basis?
Guest Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 cos he looks nicer I always thought he looked a bit like alistair darling
TOMBlcfc Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Can I ask why people are against Ranieri and Hiddink? I'm not really old enough to remember them in the prem but have heard largely posistive things regarding their managerial careers. Just a question as the reaction seems very strong
st albans fox Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Really not sure about this one......supposedly popular with the players he's worked with. ... He doesnt look like the hardest taskmaster - perhaps that's why players like him
