NeilLCFC Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Oh God please no. Still waiting for someone realistic to be linked that actually gives me some confidence
The Horse's Mouth Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 hmm, not sure. Much preferable to the names mentioned mind, bar klopp
TheUltimateWinner Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Much better CV than say someone with Celtic and Bolton on theres.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 What sort of style of football does Ranieri play? Will be honest never really followed his teams much.
st albans fox Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Actually, his record isn't as bad as I thought alrhough he has a habit of being 'let go'. Monaco got rid cos they wanted to be more 'dynamic'
Strokes Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 What sort of style of football does Ranieri play? Will be honest never really followed his teams much. Slow patient build up play, when he was at Chelsea.
orangecity23 Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Slow patient build up play, when he was at Chelsea. Doesn't sound like a very good fit for our squad, the opposite of the style we played last season.
whoareyaaa Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 A much better manager than Lennon and Cotterill will ever be and says he is open to the choice which is Superb news as it means if we don't get Klopp or Gus then we will get this guy over them two championship managers, which I would probably be happy with. Although people are right his style of play is a slow and defensive tbf which wouldn't really suit us but I'm sure he can mix it up.
Stevosevic Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Had some big clubs, surely he wouldn't keep getting those jobs if he was doing a bad job? Moved around alot but that's normal on the continent
Tuna Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Have to say my first reaction was not on your life. However, ignoring the Greece fiasco - which was the first time he had managed internationally - his record is good. In fact, when you look at his sell at Monaco 2012-2014 - won league 2 and finishing second in league 1. Pretty good if you ask me. Infinitely better option than Lennon, Lambert, McLeish etc.
Strokes Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 Doesn't sound like a very good fit for our squad, the opposite of the style we played last season. It's a no from me.
Ricey Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 He'd want to rebuild the squad, as our current squad will not suit his style. I'd him prefer him to Guus though. Worked with Cambiasso at Inter, for what's that worth.
Bettsj2 Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 International football is a complete lottery if you're successful or not. You're at the mercy of the domestic clubs co-operation to an extent so from the off you're hands are tied. Greece aside his record is decent. He's not my first choice but I certainly wouldn't be upset if he got the job.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 6 July 2015 Posted 6 July 2015 hes having bets placed on him already. Down from 66 to 40.
