I'd love him to sign as much as the next guy, he's by far and away the best player I've seen in royal blue. But I'm not losing sleep thinking about whether he's going to sign tomorrow. If he does great, if he doesn't we'll have to manage without him. Hopefully we'll stumble across some good news in the next few days, but going over and over it is so bloody tedious.

shailen Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Part of me thinks he won't have the same impact. Last season he was unreal, maybe partly due to the fact he had something to prove to Inter. With his age, he is certainly in decline but he was still miles ahead of the everyone else regardless. I just hope people don't expect him to keep up that sort of game week in week out, this year.

southfox66 Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Why bother with a central midfield given the depth of players we have in defence and attack, just put Schlupp and Mahrez on left and right flanks around half way line, long balls from defence with their pace up front and play a 1 3 2 2 3 formation.

After what he did for us I hope he goes there and wins the league apart from dropping 6 points to us next season. Class player loved seeing him in a city shirt. I just can't be bitter towards him and wish him all best

dylanlegend Posted 31 July 2015 Posted 31 July 2015 If he goes Chelsea I wouldnt be surprised to see him on loan to us in Jan. Can't see him playing much there but any London club or MLS is fine. Any other lower league PL team would be gutting
