Offer him a £15m release clause that kick in next summer.

His club are happy, we're happy and if he's a success then there'll be teams queuing up at that price.

Gee, why aren't you negotiating for the club!!!  I am sure they are doing what is needed and don't need FM to guide them how to close a deal.

Righthe if he doesn't accept us , he will still be a inter player , just to piss him off lcfc should put a 30 mill bid in for him in jan then if he accepts delay till 1st of Feb and then cancel the transfer do this till his contract runs out what a ****

I've acquired a certain set of skills over a number of years, skills that would make me a nightmare for people like Charles.

I will hunt him, I will find him and I will tea bag him.

I'm only a PM away if anyone at Leicester requires my services.

Have BL made an official bid? They're talking trash. If they want him they need to step up to the plate. They are treating Inter with utter disrespect.

All we need to do is leave our respectful offer on the table, if something come of it then fair enough.

He's not our only target so the club will be putting every effort in to sorting an alternative, and who knows another target might be a better option in the grand scale of things.

Are we really that unattractive to him? We can offer him first team football in the most competitive and globally branded league in the world. Not to mention more money then anything else on the table. Hate to say it but we could be a launch pad for an illustrious career if he performs!

If Leverkusen were that interested in him why not just match our bid and offer him peanuts in wages?! Seems as though money isn't a big motivator to him (which to be fair you have to commend him on).

Thats exactly the part I don't get.  If he really wants to go there and money isn't an issue then why haven't Leverkusen offered him peanuts each week to play (say the same or only slightly higher than he is on in Brazil) and put the extra money towards meeting the asking price for him?  Surely even though they cannot match our wages they will be paying him a couple of million a season surely still.  Just make the cutbacks in the wages and make the asking price.

I'd be happy if BL offered €15m for him on the same wages he's on now. They could make up the €4.8m shortfall in wages that they will save over the next four years.

I wonder if he'd still be so keen to move to Germany?  :)

Something stinks about the Leverkusen deal and it's completely wrong that terms have been agreed with a club that have not had a bid accepted. Sounds like the agent thats leading him to Leverkusen is on 1 BIG kickback from this.

There's no point in making another, improved, offer.

Clearly the situation is not about how much the club wants; it's now that the player has a heart in one club.

Might as well move on, like it should've done a few days back.
